The Stoke City vs Everton clash, postponed due to Evertonโ€™s FA Cup semi-final involvement, has been rescheduled for Tuesday May 1. As expected, this shifts the encounter to Gameweek 36, adding to the double fixtures already present.

The Fantasy Premier League game have added the fixture to the Gameweek – our Season Tickers will be updated accordingly very shortly.

The picture for Gameweek 36 is now clear: Stoke, Everton, Tottenham, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle, Fulham and Bolton all enjoy two fixtures having endured blank fixtures in Gameweek 34. Bolton also have a double fixture in Gameweek 35 when they face Aston Villa.

We will be devising a guide to potential strategies for the blanks in Gameweek 34 and the double fixtures in Gameweek 36 for publish later this week.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Yeah, this is why I left him out this week. You can argue the merits of bringing him in and benching, but I'd have had no chance of getting XI out if I started bringing in GW34 non-players.

Tough calls for the next few weeks in this regard.

I took the punt on Bainsey this week anticipating no game in gw34. Its paid off points wise, and I can get by with JEvans Verm and Caulker at the back (Baines & Kelly on the bench)

Perfect news. Everton and Stoke have good GW37 and GW38 fixtures so those of us on our wildcards can sort out 11 DGW players and still have some players we don't need to desperately get rid of. ๐Ÿ™‚

Bloody difficult to sort out 11 DGW palyers, do you get rid of Roo & RVP. Not easy to utilise wilcard!

It is very easy to do it. Play the fixtures up to GW34 and then use WC on GW35 to take advantage of the extra games. With 9 teams involved in the DGW, there's plenty to pick though I think it means having to drop either Rooney or RVP

Bloody hell, just when I think I'm set on ditching Shotton, both Stoke wingers become doubts making him an OOP defender with a great GW32 fixture. Worth getting rid of him, or am I better to just get shot of Skrtel?

    Migs, Bogdan
    Skrtel, JEvans, Kompany, Caulker, Shotton
    Dempsey, Walcott, Valencia, Siggy, Surman
    RVP, Rooney, Suarez

I highly doubt he'll be rested. He'll start every game until the end of the season, he's just far too important to Arsenal's ambitions.

At most he'll get subbed after 60+mins if Arse are cruising

Can you see any obvious improvements to this GW36 team?

    Friedel(BLA/bol)
    Baines(FUL/sto),Simpson(wig/che),Wheater(sun/TOT)
    Bale(BLA/bol), Dempsey(eve/liv),Petrov(sun/TOT),HBA(wig/che),Siggy(WOL)
    Cisse(wig/che),Adebayor(BLA/bol)

    Subs: Bogdan, Warnock, Jevans, Rooney

With this team there’s a fair bit of spare cash although there’s every chance that I will use this + 2FT in GW37 to manage out the last couple of games based on closing form. (ps. Warnock and Bogdan are there for the extra DGW in GW 35)

Not sure what to make of these M’Vila rumours. He told Canal+: “Inter, Arsenal, Real... I will take the fun everywhere! These are great clubs. If the coach calls you and tells you he wants you to make you play, especially a French coach, it changes everything. The important thing for me is getting playing time for the France team.”

No doubt he’s a great player but, personally, i think Coquelin has massive potential and should be given more games next season.

Yeah but he's been brilliant in those 5 games. We've got decent coverage in DM; Song, Arteta, Wilshere, Coquelin. I wouldn't say no to M'Vila but would prefer a Sessegnon or Dembele.

    Vorm
    Jevans, Baines, Assou Ekotto, (Hanley)
    Siggurdson, Bale, Dempsey, Valencia (Fergurson)
    Rooney, RVP, Suarez

Now that baines has a DGW in GW 36 i only have 7 GW 34 players which is not good at all.

I’m thinking about upgrading Fergurson to Sessgnon and bringing in Bendtner for Suarez.

This will give me 9 GW 34 players. Is that enough? What else can i do if not?

Yes, I can't see Kenny being sacked, but if Liverpool don't win the FA Cup and finish below 7th he may be asked to resign.

Things are already very ugly in the Liverpool dressing room, just look at Spearing, Shelvey, Carroll, Downing, hardly a pretty picture ๐Ÿ˜›

don't know, but no way should Krul be no.1 for NL, Stekelenberg is still by far the best keeper. Krul should certainly be ahead of Vermeer in the pecking order tho!

I got him at 11.9 so getting him back would be an issue. As it's only the last few weeks the differential could work well or very badly.

    GW 34 question.

Option A: play with 10 players and save a transfer.
Option B: Make a transfer for SAFC defender against Wolves and spend a hit later for the doubles.

There is a value for having a extra transfer for the double but this transfer in GW 34 could be considered as a 2pt hit so I see logic there. The main question is will Wolves score. Its risky I know but thoughts?

Worth doing Dempsey --> Sessegnon now, in an attempt to be able to field at least 10 players in GW34?

Dempsey has (bolton, CHELSEA, x) the next three GWs, while Sess has (SPURS, everton, WOLVES).

I think so. Can't think of any contenders since I have all the other obligatory players you can't get rid of.

Out of Valencia, Siggy, Walcott, Bale, Dempsey, Rvp, Rooney and Cisse, only Dempsey makes sense getting rid of now with GW34 in mind. His double GW isn't that great neither.
