The Stoke City vs Everton clash, postponed due to Everton’s FA Cup semi-final involvement, has been rescheduled for Tuesday May 1. As expected, this shifts the encounter to Gameweek 36, adding to the double fixtures already present.

The Fantasy Premier League game have added the fixture to the Gameweek – our Season Tickers will be updated accordingly very shortly.

The picture for Gameweek 36 is now clear: Stoke, Everton, Tottenham, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle, Fulham and Bolton all enjoy two fixtures having endured blank fixtures in Gameweek 34. Bolton also have a double fixture in Gameweek 35 when they face Aston Villa.

We will be devising a guide to potential strategies for the blanks in Gameweek 34 and the double fixtures in Gameweek 36 for publish later this week.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      Terrible ... but 47? 😯

Can anyone help me fill the blank here as a part of a double transfer for this week??

I'm doing this to free up funds and avoid the Young rotation especially with Week 34 in mind..Initial hunch was to bring in HBA, but he has a blank Week 34 and already have McClean, so bringing in Sess will be overloading it..

I think I have finally learned my lesson, if rather late in the day (see my GW history for a sorry tale of transfer addiction, although I would note that the 12 pointer did actually pay off).

This week I did Kelly(fulham) > Verm for a hit, thereby costing me 6 points. Sobering. No more hits now. Not ever. I have a no-hit plan for 34-36-apolooza and I'm sticking to it.

    b) Play Schwarzer @ Everton + Liverpool

Ok guys, heres the proof of the pudding.
    Go to the ticker
    pick GWs 34-37
    sort by difficulty
4 of the top five teams do NOT have a DGW!

    SUN, TOT, WBA, SWA, ARS

    Chelsea are second last!

Need your help if you don’t mind! Have been tinkering around with my team there are just too many pressing issues i don’t know which to start with. What would you do if you had this team?

    Vorm, Sorenson
    Kelly, Simpson, GCahill, Jevans, Richards
    Walcott, Dempsey, Siggy, Bale, Valencia
    RVP, Rooney, Ba

1FT, 0.1 in bank. Ba to Cisse sounds good but Swansea is strong at home. Thoughts guys?

Will be avoiding this place on GW36 for the simple reason that you will have people posting I have 24 players playing this week (10 x 2 and 1 x 4 with (C)) which looking at the fixtures will be even less significant to other DGW because the fixtures for sides without doubles are even more appealing than most teams with doubles.

I am going to be going for 6-7 DGW'ers, but caution is the ace up ones sleeve on weeks like that, don't be fooled, two fixtures for many players will yield a 2 + 2, and with hits, can really hurt your team more than help it!

a hit would only cost you 2 points though with another 90 mins potential to do something special. also there are only 2 games left after 36 so I don't see the harm in going for it whole heartedly! (I haven't taken 1 hit this season)

If you take a hit for a defender, you're forgetting that in all likelihood some of your attackers will be facing that defender anyways. PLUS, Take a look at Swansea's and Sunderland's fixture for that week, tell me do you expect a newcastle or Stoke or Bolton player to outscore them? I doubt it.

Well I saw the fixtures and City actually has a chance for the title. It all depends on them if they win there games.

    Rooney's (Utd) last 4 Everton (H) Man City (A) Swansea (H) Sunderland (A)

I am considering offloading Rooney, its him or RVP for Torres or other double GW striker. I know the Utd fans will disagree but I am just speaking about fantasy points. Rooney never does good against Eve. The City game could be fruitful I agree but Mancini will choke and play 4 5 1 almost definitely so the potential for goals is limited. Swansea at home is good potential I agree but that passing game by them is marvelous. The pressure will be on Utd depends on the City game so Rooney will have to go deep to receive the ball so not many fantasy points imo. 1:0 with Chicha goal. The last game is against MON and Utd could already have the title or it will be a huge game. So Rooney could not produce in that game.

My prediction for Rooney's production: 1 goal, 2 assists and 3 BP for that period. Or 2goals, 1 assist and 4BP. That is not something I am scared of. Presuming that we have RVP captain in 35, 7 and 8.

    Thoughts?

One thing your forgetting, utd don't essentially have to win all their games on account of city losing their nerve. I still feel roo ey has a lot to offer pts wise, discard him at your peril! ( this all coming from a man who continues to give ba 1 more week!)

If your prediction is right, Utd lose the title.

And City don't control their destiny alone, they'll need a Utd trip-up, which is possible of course.

I think Torres is a fool's errand. And what other DGW striker? Methinks the DGW has people on the kool-aid.

I'm a Ba owner so obviously gutted about assistgate. Funny thing is though I think I have mainly been so angry because I have read about 10,000 of Jack Bauer's posts on here since yesterday which convinced me how unjust it was. Then when he finally reveals his "proof" it's one angle that is completely inconclusive! I saw that angle on MOTD2 last night and thought that Barfa def didn't get a touch but then they showed another angle and there is definitely a touch by either the Liverplol defender or Barfa. Bauer must have some hidden agenda here or he's just a mentalist!

Demba Ba and David Silva have been killing me in recent weeks. They've done so well for me most of the season, but the wheels appear to be falling off! I've kept them this long so is it a bit late to cut my losses? And if I do axe them who do I bring in?

What is wrong with Silva's ankle anyway? Doesn't appear to be any accurate articles to explain the problem!

"Ankle Espanol" -- a condition related to a debilitating desire to return to a land of sun, warmth, beautiful women, and coaches who play with less than 6 defenders. Can take months to alleviate.

Anybody read about that Yaya and Ballo bust up after the game? Looks like Ballo is gonna be on the transfer list. And that comments from Mancini that he thought in the 5th minute to bring Tevez?

This whole blank gameweek/double gameweek thing is an unwelcome finale to this season. I am not looking forward to it!

I fully agree. Im sitting on a very comfortable 80 pts lead at the top of my mini-league, and this double gw can sure wreck everything!

No chance, unless he's injured. SAF will want to hammer it home now to put the pressure on City when they take on Arsenal.

Surely GW 34 is about getting the right players in that just making sure you can field a full team. Sod that I just want to make sure that the players I do have will have the best shot at points.

In line with that I think the players that need to be considered for that GW are:

    Sess
    Bentner
    Siggy
    The usual man u lot
    Rvp
    Walcott

I think that of you have those then you may not have a full squad but you would only be making up the numbers anyway.

Anyone care to add to my list?

I think Evans can be dropped for Cahill if Cahill is nailed on.
