As the dust settles on Papiss Cisse’s stunning contribution last night, Fantasy managers must prepare for seven more Premier League games as the Gameweek progresses in earnest. Our Dugout Discussion Chatroom is now fully fuelled and running its engines in time for day’s opener at the Stadium of Light.

Spurs make the journey to the North East, having witnessed Newcastle’s clinical disposal of Swansea in last night’s victory at the Liberty. The ball is very much in Harry Redknapp’s court as he attempts to keep Alan Pardew’s men at arms length, whilst fending off Arsene Wenger’s Gunners who take on City tomorrow. The teams line-up as follows…

Sunderland XI: Mignolet, Bardsley, Colback, Kilgallon, Turner, Larsson, McClean, Cattermole, Gardner, Sessegnon, Bendtner.

Tottenham XI: Friedel; Walker, Kaboul, Gallas, Assou-Ekotto; Parker, Sandro; Van Der Vaart, Modric, Bale; Adebayor

We’ll then roll through five three o’clock kick-offs, Chelsea vs Wigan and Bolton vs Fulham to name but a couple, before Stoke and Wolves come clattering together in today’s evening fixture and rounding out our Saturday affairs.

Join the your Fantasy Football peers for a chat via this link.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Villa have been poor defending set pieces all season. Ivanovic scored a brace against them last week. Time for Skrtel to bring home the points.

Need to make up 11 points on my H2H... I'm losing (and will most likely lose to the guy at the bottom of the league)... it comes down to this...

    ME - Baines, Walcott, Suarez

    HIM - Mignolet, Cahill, Walters + 11pts (I'm assuming Cisse 3bps)

Obviously need 2 or less points across the board from his remaining players, and need my players all to get good returns... but is that likely to happen? No, didn't think so... 🙁

Don't be so cynical. You can't beat teams that are not in your league. What are Barca and Real up against in comparison to their quality?

Celtic were 3-0 down at Kilmarnock at HT and 15 points behind Rangers well before any points deduction. They came back to draw 3-3 and went unbeaten until the Old Firm game last week.

        Don't be so ignorant.

Barca and Real are up against teams that would annihilate the majority of the crappy SPL league.

Hearts wouldn't get promoted out of the Championship.

          1. COMH

The teams are crippled financially because of the league and size of the nation we're in. They can't attract players as the money is not there. If they were in the Championship they would compete as they would have the finances to strengthen. That is common sense.

How many average PL teams are there. Far more than there are quality ones.
