As the dust settles on Papiss Cisse’s stunning contribution last night, Fantasy managers must prepare for seven more Premier League games as the Gameweek progresses in earnest. Our Dugout Discussion Chatroom is now fully fuelled and running its engines in time for day’s opener at the Stadium of Light.

Spurs make the journey to the North East, having witnessed Newcastle’s clinical disposal of Swansea in last night’s victory at the Liberty. The ball is very much in Harry Redknapp’s court as he attempts to keep Alan Pardew’s men at arms length, whilst fending off Arsene Wenger’s Gunners who take on City tomorrow. Tottenham XI: Friedel; Walker, Kaboul, Gallas, Assou-Ekotto; Parker, Sandro; Van Der Vaart, Modric, Bale; Adebayor

We’ll then roll through five three o’clock kick-offs, Chelsea vs Wigan and Bolton vs Fulham to name but a couple, before Stoke and Wolves come clattering together in today’s evening fixture and rounding out our Saturday affairs.

    Selling Dempsey for Siggy has been a massive fail but at least there was a valid argument for it. Unlike my rival benching him for Ryo 🙂

    This game week is not going to end as well as it started for my team.
    Strangely I am not as annoyed about liverpool loosing the clean sheet, I am more annoyed about the Turner clean sheet on my bench.The last time I started him I had Sigurdson on the bench with 16 points, and Turner got 1 point.

    Once again I end up thinking: I'd have tons of points if I did the EXACT OPPOSITE of what I do.

    Did Dempsey out for Siggy.

    Had to choose between Skrtel, Santon and Kelly. Chose Skrtel.

    Next week I might doing the exact opposite of what I want to do.

      It's the George Costanza rule. Everything he did was the wrong decision, so he decided to listen to his instincts and then do the exact opposite. I need to subscribe to that rule, too.

            All I can think is that Siggy surely must be favoured fixture wise. I mean, one thing for sure, he's got to outscore Dempsey the week Dempsey isn't playing! Right?

              I think selling Dempsey who is poor away, then has Chelsea at home and a blank, for a player who has been superb since coming in Jan and has a great run of fixtures including GW34 was a difficult but logical decision.

        Dempsey over Siggy = 13 points so far (assuming 3 baps)
        Skrtel would be on the bench with Verm on the pitch instead.

      Zero chance imo. I understand selling Dempsey but i don't get why you would bench him @ Bolton. Alot of money to be stuck on the bench, goalscorer and against a dodgy defence.

        Apart from Bale, all my other attackers had either good form or good fixtures. Just couldn't squeeze him in and Fulham's away form was the kicker to leave him on the bench. Oh well, cest la vie!
