A pivotal day of Premier League football sees both Manchester clubs involved, as the race for the title heats up. Justifying the “Super Sunday” billing, the Dugout Discussion opens for the opener at Old Trafford, where United are in a prime position to pile the pressure on City. They themselves visit the Emirates later this afternoon, facing an in form Arsenal.

The team sheets for the Manchester United – Queens Park Rangers game are in, and the sides line-up as follows…

Man Utd XI: De Gea, Rafael Da Silva, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Valencia, Scholes, Carrick, Young, Rooney, Welbeck.

QPR XI: Kenny, Onuoha, Ferdinand, Hill, Taiwo, Diakite, Derry, Mackie, Taarabt, Buzsaky, Bothroyd.

Two changes for the champions then, with Ashley Young and Danny Welbeck replacing Phil Jones and Javier Hernandez from the side that were victorious at Blackburn.

Somewhat surprisingly, Bobby Zamora is dropped to the substitutes bench for visitors, with Jay Bothroyd replacing him. Meanwhile, Joey Barton isn’t risked, with the midfielder one yellow card away from a two-match suspension.

Follow the action as it unfolds in our Dugout Discussion chatroom, which can be accessed right here.

Lee Mason must want the good champagne broke out later for him and his mates. United getting home decisions again, f**king disgrace.

Video replay on scoring plays -- or much of what happens in the EPL is tarnished. This play would have taken 60 seconds to overrule. This particular game is now a joke and ruined, with QPR down a man.

Wasn't a sending off whatsoever. What also annoys me is how everyone well be saying how United cheated to win when they were probably going to win this game, very frustrating. Feel sorry for QPR.

thats not the point , the point is equality for all and at the end if they win (i agree that would most probably won anyway, then why help them even more?) so be it.

I perfectly understand equality for all, I don't like seeing that sending off. It's just having to listen to another few days of how United are nothing but a shit team that have "bought" off all the refs or "intimidate" them into giving us our way. As I said, I feel very bad for QPR, the match will have died off from this most likely.

offside and not a pen and not a red
if webb, dowd, marriner dont get you mason will
like i said all season if anyone bar united win the title it will be amazing
dont need a good side when youve got the referees on your side
wonder how many points united would be on if they had been refereed correctly

Still the same amount probably. Funnily enough they actually win games without refs help. Most of their games. And yes they get calls that go their way, like all teams do. The reason United do well is because they grind out results even when playing badly.

Hmm such as City's peno against Spurs? You know, the one that brought it back for them that wasn't in any way a peno? Remember that? And Liverpool try their very hardest to get decisions, Suarez can't stay on his feet for more than 5 minutes.
