A pivotal day of Premier League football sees both Manchester clubs involved, as the race for the title heats up. Justifying the “Super Sunday” billing, the Dugout Discussion opens for the opener at Old Trafford, where United are in a prime position to pile the pressure on City. They themselves visit the Emirates later this afternoon, facing an in form Arsenal.

The team sheets for the Manchester United – Queens Park Rangers game are in, and the sides line-up as follows…

Man Utd XI: De Gea, Rafael Da Silva, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Valencia, Scholes, Carrick, Young, Rooney, Welbeck.

QPR XI: Kenny, Onuoha, Ferdinand, Hill, Taiwo, Diakite, Derry, Mackie, Taarabt, Buzsaky, Bothroyd.

Two changes for the champions then, with Ashley Young and Danny Welbeck replacing Phil Jones and Javier Hernandez from the side that were victorious at Blackburn.

Somewhat surprisingly, Bobby Zamora is dropped to the substitutes bench for visitors, with Jay Bothroyd replacing him. Meanwhile, Joey Barton isn’t risked, with the midfielder one yellow card away from a two-match suspension.

Follow the action as it unfolds in our Dugout Discussion chatroom, which can be accessed right here.

He's my vice, a good option but Newcastle don't have the attacking mentality Arsenal have. And Bolton are no Wolves, Bogdan is a great shot stopper. It will be hard to resist differentials at this stage of the season but it would be madness not to captain him.

Play Bale (doubtful) or McClean this week

Surely Bale, he’ll either play or be left out all together

Dempsey in for Walcott in 35 still looks good.

Didn’t want to sell him this week, but I wanted funds for Dave and all my other mids have games in 34 bar Bale who has Norwich this week

If I own 3 United, 3 Arsenal, 3 Sunderland and Caulker, best defender for 34 and 35, money no object.

the average is pretty low so anything from 50-60 pre baps should get a green arrow.

will have 10 for GW34 so not too fusseed about finding an 11th player instead.

Lost my first place in the mini league. The guy's been pushing me hard lately with an 78 and now 72 point round ... and with a team of only 104 mil value - and, I have to say, some weird choices when us FPL managers look at it.

Now I'm more determined to get it back than ever. Only 2 points.

Do you think it's best to go pricey on the defense or the offense in the coming weeks? The cheaper strikers are looking tasty at the moment, with lots to play for, while the pricier ones (Van Persie, Rooney) have disappointed even though they'v had good fixtures.
