Just the one Premier League to concentrate on this evening, as Blackburn look to battle for points against a Liverpool side desperately looking for a change of fortunes ahead of their FA Cup semi-final with Everton. Our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to welcome your real-time chatter as the game unfolds.

The team news from Ewood is interesting and somewhat predictable. While Steve Kean tinkers by bringing in Mauro Formica and Marcus Olsson for Morten Gamst-Pedersen and Jason Lowe, his opposite number has a different agenda with the weekend cup tie in mind. Kenny Dalglish rests Steven Gerrard from his squad, whilst Luis Suarez is shifted to the bench, allowing Andy Carroll and Craig Bellamy to start up front. Glen Johnson returns to the side, with a left-back role looking likely as Jose Enrique also makes way. He sits alongside Jamie Carragher and Dan Agger as Sebastian Coates starts alongside Martin Skrtel.

Follow the action on your screens with one eye on our Dugout Discussion chat via this link.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Kirby, mate, how's your blood pressure after that one?

How loud did you shout when Carroll scored?

I genuinely believe that Wolves, Blackburn and Bolton deserve to go. The 3 worst defensive records in the league.

Both Wolves and Blackburn have already conceded at least 70 goals each and Bolton are on 65 conceded. Not sure you deserve to stay up with those kind of defences.

Why is it defensive stability that means you 'deserve' to stay up? Do we not 'deserve ' to stay up for scoring more goals than anyone outside the european places?

It could very well happen, too.

Wolves have gone down for sure IMO.

QPR are fighting strong, as are Wigan, I believe for us if we get points from Blackburn, Fulham and Newcastle we will be safe, primarily need to beat Blackburn though.

Here is to hoping for both of us 😀

Gibbs's body isn't up to the rigours of professional football. Shame really as he looks a good prospect.

You do come out with some great comments.
Do you still think City and United are the best two teams in Europe?

Why would you try to credit me with a comment something as ridiculous as that? What next, do I still think Elvis is alive.

Well it's the first I've heard of it. Why do you think I would say that? You're either trying to wind me up or you've got your wires crossed.

What I did say about United is that they were ranked number 1 team by UEFA in this years Champions League.

One would assume Thursday morning since no bonus has been awarded for yesterdays games yet. Although it was a bank holiday.
