Just the one Premier League to concentrate on this evening, as Blackburn look to battle for points against a Liverpool side desperately looking for a change of fortunes ahead of their FA Cup semi-final with Everton. Our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to welcome your real-time chatter as the game unfolds.

The team news from Ewood is interesting and somewhat predictable. While Steve Kean tinkers by bringing in Mauro Formica and Marcus Olsson for Morten Gamst-Pedersen and Jason Lowe, his opposite number has a different agenda with the weekend cup tie in mind. Kenny Dalglish rests Steven Gerrard from his squad, whilst Luis Suarez is shifted to the bench, allowing Andy Carroll and Craig Bellamy to start up front. Glen Johnson returns to the side, with a left-back role looking likely as Jose Enrique also makes way. He sits alongside Jamie Carragher and Dan Agger as Sebastian Coates starts alongside Martin Skrtel.

Follow the action on your screens with one eye on our Dugout Discussion chat via this link.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

"I have nothing but praise for the boy. He is easily the best player in the world. He is better than Kaka and better than Messi. He is streets ahead of them all. His contribution as a goal threat is unbelievable. His stats are incredible. Strikes at goal, attempts on goal, raids into the penalty box, headers. It is all there. Absolutely astounding." Sir Alex Ferguson on Cristiano Ronaldo, July 2009

Bet he wishes he could take that back 😛

On the bright side. By being relegated to the Championship and watching Rovers there I'll gain an edge ahead of the 2013/14 FPL season as I can scout bargains. (Not that Rovers will be one of the three teams.)

      blackburn's remaining fixtures:

swansea A (could get a draw)
      norwich H (win)
      tottenham A (defeat)
      wigan H (narrow win)
      Chelsea A (defeat)

    Just finished watching Captain America

Not a bad flick, and Hayley Atwell is quite tasty, but they had one glaring error

They kept saying Captain America was Steve Rogers. I'm sure his name is Clint Dempsey

On another note have found a way to work RvP into my team for DGW, I will sell Sess instead of McClean who can sit.

Still not getting Ade, the guy has burnt me enough. Jelavic, Bale and whichever of VdV or Mata gets knocked out this weekend.

Which option should I take to give me 10 players for GW 34?

    1) Miyaichi -> McClean, keep Bale. This would give me McClean for GW 34, and Bale for GW 35 and DGW 36.

    OR

    2) Bale -> Sessegnon, keep Miyaichi. This would give me Sessegnon for GW 34, and Miyaichi for DGW 35 & DGW 36.

Holt is also a possibility. I am dealing with the same issue.

I had planned to get Bendy, but I am concerned about his injury and Sunderland's morale after being smashed by Everton. Don't see myself getting the Yak, too inconsistent.

It'd be for a hit, but the reasons are 3 fold:

        1) Field an additional player in 34
        2) Get rid of Enrique
        3) Free up value to bring Cisse in for Pogrebnyak (I know) in GW35

If you need the money for Cisse then yeah definitely do it. That makes sense.

I agree with RCA though, doubling might be the way to go if you're chasing down a lead, but under normal circumstances I'd go McCauley.

Cheers, Epic (and RCA).In an ideal world I'd probably go for McCauley, but like you say with chasing a lead, doubling up is definitly the tactic. I also have Schwarzer so would naturally play him ahead of Mig in 36 for the DGW, so it's not like I'll always have to double up on Sun.

Think I'm just about going to get away with price rises/drops this evening so I'll have a good ponder tomorrow.

It definitely bonks Gary Cahill on the bum on the way through and from the angle from just behind the post it looks like it's going off target. But I don't think they'll take it away, too close to call so they'll probably stick with the original ruling. Oh and HANDS OFF CAPTAIN AMERICA'S GOAL!
