Just the one Premier League to concentrate on this evening, as Blackburn look to battle for points against a Liverpool side desperately looking for a change of fortunes ahead of their FA Cup semi-final with Everton. Our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to welcome your real-time chatter as the game unfolds.

The team news from Ewood is interesting and somewhat predictable. While Steve Kean tinkers by bringing in Mauro Formica and Marcus Olsson for Morten Gamst-Pedersen and Jason Lowe, his opposite number has a different agenda with the weekend cup tie in mind. Kenny Dalglish rests Steven Gerrard from his squad, whilst Luis Suarez is shifted to the bench, allowing Andy Carroll and Craig Bellamy to start up front. Glen Johnson returns to the side, with a left-back role looking likely as Jose Enrique also makes way. He sits alongside Jamie Carragher and Dan Agger as Sebastian Coates starts alongside Martin Skrtel.

Follow the action on your screens with one eye on our Dugout Discussion chat via this link.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

went down easily, ball was going away from goal straight to the defender.

        Yellow was the correct decision

Went down easily? Yeah, that's a law.

Ball went across the goalmouth to a defender 10-15 yards away. Burn goal if Young doesn't level him.

          +1

I'm not a Utd fan. And believe it or not, I always had a soft spot for Liverpool. It all went downhill for me with the way Hodgson was treated, which Dalglish had a hand in (directly or indirectly) and the subsequent Suarez incident and the reaction of the club/Dalglish to it. Every single post match interview reveals Dalglish to be the small person that he is. Past heroics don't enough weight for me to overlook his absurdity.

Dalglish has in one season ruined that clubs reputation. And the fact that Liverpool fans can't see beyond their blinkers at this blatent truth adds to the comedy. They have become a joke of a club in my eyes. Which is genuinely sad.

I agree it's been a horrendous year for them, even worse off the field than on it, which says a lot. The suarez incident was the turning point for sure. Most Liverpool fans I see here take the joking quite light heartedly but I can see their point because it gets a bit pushy at times. I think the lesson learnt is everyone hope their team next year isn't involved in bad off the field incidents or you're in for hell, even though u have no control over those incidents 🙂

this is also a classic league

After today my lead is 20 points.

Also think I've finally cracked my DGW team

        Mingolet (BOL)

Baines (FUL, sto) Santon (wig, che) Caulker (WOL)

VdV, Bale (BLA, bol) Dempsey (eve, liv) Sess (BOL), Siggy (WOL)

Jelavic (FUL, sto) Cisse (wig, che)

        De Gea, RvP, Verm, Evans

Only one that might change is VdV to Mata.

paul robinson, built like a fat lad, moves like a fat lad. who would have thought? hazard a guess that he's the least agile keeper ever to grace the premier league, and i include neville southall's bradford comeback in that

His career did go downhill when he moved to Arsenal to sit on their bench, get touted for England.

and you defending him. seriously he might be taking you down, he's sub-standard, no shame in that, it's the premier league. just look at him, i reckon half the people on this site are in better physical condition than stumpy

i think you deserve better. if your job entails moving your body from A to B then it helps not to look like that. i'd forgive him if he moved properly, a full-stretch dive to parry shelvey's shot that was going in the middle of the goal for maxi's 2nd. hmm, time to get in the gym or retire

The scout picks are almost irrelevant over the next few GW's

    Whats the best 11 players over GW's 34 ( 6 fixtures ) to 36 ( 14 fixtures ) ?

Bale, Dempsey, Sess, Siggy + DGW mid

      RvP, Cisse, Ade/Jelavic.

Could also fill that DGW mid slot instead.

There aren't 11 solid picks for those gameweeks. Most obvious picks have both good and bad fixtures. Bar Spurs who have decent fixtures but are playing shit
