Just the one Premier League to concentrate on this evening, as Blackburn look to battle for points against a Liverpool side desperately looking for a change of fortunes ahead of their FA Cup semi-final with Everton. Our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to welcome your real-time chatter as the game unfolds.

The team news from Ewood is interesting and somewhat predictable. While Steve Kean tinkers by bringing in Mauro Formica and Marcus Olsson for Morten Gamst-Pedersen and Jason Lowe, his opposite number has a different agenda with the weekend cup tie in mind. Kenny Dalglish rests Steven Gerrard from his squad, whilst Luis Suarez is shifted to the bench, allowing Andy Carroll and Craig Bellamy to start up front. Glen Johnson returns to the side, with a left-back role looking likely as Jose Enrique also makes way. He sits alongside Jamie Carragher and Dan Agger as Sebastian Coates starts alongside Martin Skrtel.

Follow the action on your screens with one eye on our Dugout Discussion chat via this link.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Sky Sports had no right to question Jones' celebration after his penalty save. He's son has passed away from an illness stop making him feel uncomfortable especially live on tv! Chin up Braddy J!

Oh and Maxi is so underrated.

      Maxi's not underrated - he's underplayed.
I know he goes missing sometimes but his goals to games ratio is exceptional I don't know why he's not given more oppurtunities.

You're allowed to disagree. But saying that a post-match interview cannot ask a player about the happenings during a game is daft.

I see that you're the moral protector of lost souls 🙄

If he didn't want to be asked, he shouldn't have made any 'celebration' - and asking about it is in no way disrespectful.

Yes ask about happenings in a match but something like the death of your son should not be bought up. Anyway that's my opinion, each to their own really.

Well, I think I’ve finally cracked my DGW team

    Mingolet (BOL)

Baines (FUL, sto) Santon (wig, che) Caulker (WOL)

VdV, Bale (BLA, bol) Dempsey (eve, liv) Sess (BOL), Siggy (WOL)

Jelavic (FUL, sto) Cisse (wig, che)

    De Gea, RvP, Verm, Evans

Only one that might change is VdV to Mata.

only a 4 point hit needed

In 37 I can sell Sess to Moses. and 38 Clint to Fat Frank

No, you're right in theory to bench him. Just saying though, don't be surprised if he ends up tearing Stoke a new one.

I've made sure I've got room for RVP in my team for that week personally.

Obviously he's going to say that since they're both Santos men. Perhaps he's just trying to inflate Neymar's price for when he decides to find himself a real club.

Ah that is just a Brazil v Argentina thing. I think it's Pele's way at getting a dig at Maradona.
Maradona called Messi his Maradona afterall.
I agree Pele is silly though I remeber he tipped England to win the 2006 world cup.

    a) Jelalvic and VdV

    b) Ade and Pienaar

I'm leaning towards a right now, but both are great options.

I just feel I'd want jelavic at home to Wolves, would mean a hit to get as i want to do Sess to Moses in 37 and Clint to Lampard in 38.

        ok

will decide in 36, can asses form etc then. If Spurs don't make the final Ade is nailed on for both games, if Everton don't same for Jelavic

That being said, Pienaar is nailed on for both.

I still dont know what transfers I'm gonna make going forward. Already got one saved up this week. Anyone else tempted to just play it by ear and keep an eye out for injuries? Think i'll just swap Walcott for Mata for the double and then back again. Haven't got any fancy plans

Nor do I, just play XI for GW34 and save 2FTs for the DGW. Will see who takes fancy then.

I have a full compliment for gw 34 all playing at home. Got Caulker in for Skrtel and Sessegenon in for Surman.
I think there is more chance of picking up points on gw 34 then there is for the double gws of 35/36.
A lot of people are risking 7-10 players instead of 11.

Upside is bps, same way as upside for GW36 is 2 games + bps

I'm with you there, I'm hoping to score really highly GW34 with 11 players all with good fixtures.

Think the DGW could be a big let down, don't fancy much outside Spurs as Chelsea will rotate ridiculously imo, especially if they beat Spurs at the weekend.

10 in GW34 for me. 8 DGW players.
      I'm happy enough.
      Quality not quantity.

That has always been my thinking going in to this run of fixtures. Some people are obsessed with double gameweeks. Even though there are lots of teams with two games its not worth heavy investment when you look at the fixtures. Added to that the GW34 home games all look good. I can still get 6 or 7 double gameweekers out if I want to

It depends on the make up of your team. If you have mostly 11 players set up for GW34 then take the 11 in GW 34 approach. If you have heaps missing for GW34 and its too difficult to get 11 players then take the DGW36 approach. There is no right or wrong really, its simply better to do what is best and easiest for your team

      11 players for 34 and 4 dgw(ers) for me:

      Migs
      McAuley / Verm / Caulker / Evans
      Wally / Tony V / Sess / Siggy
      Roo / RVP

      (Krul) / (Demps) (BAE) (Cisse)
