While the FA Cup semi-finals will be watchable distractions, most Fantasy managers are struggling to forgive the schedule for ripping the heart out of our Gameweek. As a result, there’s a been a tricky situation brewing for weeks and, in hour or so, there’s no way back on the decisions we make. To help ensure our thinking is sound, our Matchday Surgery chatroom is now open to provide a pre-deadline support group.

Before all that, here’s a recap of the key coverage on the Scout so far this week…

  • All the team news and predicted lineups for this weekend’s league action has been collected for you here.
  • Last night’s Scout Picks were revealed by Sir Paulos – get the beef on those right here.
  • Big Dunc dived into the Gameweek’s limited pool and pulled out something different. Get his “Differentials” right here.
  • We’ve had two Watchlist articles this week, with Stephane Sessegnon and Thomas Vermaelen earning some love.
  • Our members were also served up two helpings, as we examined Sessegnon against his Gameweek 34 rivals – James McClean, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Theo Walcott in our “Versus” article. The “Numbers Game” meanwhile examined the current team stats trends following Gameweek 33.
  • Sir Paulos took up the reins of “Men in Black” to assess the officials on show this weekend.
  • Finally, we’ve still got our own Cup rolling on – the Round Five draw was served up by Akers right here.

Once you’ve digested that little lot, be sure to pop in the Matchday Surgery chatroom for a last minute chin-wag.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Don't be fooled that Wigan are going to keep doing what they have been doing. That United game will have taken alot out of them and the Emirates is such a bug pitch I can see Arsenal stretching their defence.

I never see Walcott as a good differential to RVP. When Theo is assisting goals they are mostly converted by RVP and when he is scoring RVP is usually the assister.

It's ideal having both in your team but captaining Walcott over RVP will rarely get you more points.

I'm just saying that it's not as rare as you think.
Of the 14 games in 2012, Walcott has outscored RVP 8/14 times, with 2 games even.

Theo has been in great form but before each game RVP is still the standout (c) choice of the two. Hindsight tells us that's not always the case but before each kick off you fancy RVP to outscore Theo 9 times out of 10.

If not him, thinking of getting Vorm, got two FTs so might as well bring in at least one playing keeper

    What do you think?

How are people dealing with the annoying timing of City and Scouse games? I will record one but want to watch the one that is least likely to reveal the score in the other game! Why on earth could one game not be moved to 5.15?

There's something slightly unsatisfactory about captaining RVP this week. I think he'll score but not more than 1, Wigan have been excellent lately. But I don't want to captain Rooney / Valencia, can't see why Walcott would do better than RVP, and Siggy and McClean are a gamble too far in my eyes. Meh

    Al-Habsi - Bogdan
    SKelly - Santon - Kaboul - JEvans - Caulker
    Mata - Sessegnon - Sigurdsson - Pilkington - Silva
    RVP - P.Cisse - Rooney

    for DGW36:

    A.
    Caulker, Silva, Pilkington, Rooney
    for
Baines, Dempsey, Ben Arfa, Adebayor ( - 4 pts hit )

one of the transfers will be done before GW35

    B.
    Silva, Pilkington, Rooney
    for
combination of 3 players from a list of: Pienaar, Ben Arfa, Bale, VDV, Dempsey, Gerrard, Suarez, Adebayor - if this WHAT combination to go ?
