While the FA Cup semi-finals will be watchable distractions, most Fantasy managers are struggling to forgive the schedule for ripping the heart out of our Gameweek. As a result, there’s a been a tricky situation brewing for weeks and, in hour or so, there’s no way back on the decisions we make. To help ensure our thinking is sound, our Matchday Surgery chatroom is now open to provide a pre-deadline support group.

Before all that, here’s a recap of the key coverage on the Scout so far this week…

  • All the team news and predicted lineups for this weekend’s league action has been collected for you here.
  • Last night’s Scout Picks were revealed by Sir Paulos – get the beef on those right here.
  • Big Dunc dived into the Gameweek’s limited pool and pulled out something different. Get his “Differentials” right here.
  • We’ve had two Watchlist articles this week, with Stephane Sessegnon and Thomas Vermaelen earning some love.
  • Our members were also served up two helpings, as we examined Sessegnon against his Gameweek 34 rivals – James McClean, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Theo Walcott in our “Versus” article. The “Numbers Game” meanwhile examined the current team stats trends following Gameweek 33.
  • Sir Paulos took up the reins of “Men in Black” to assess the officials on show this weekend.
  • Finally, we’ve still got our own Cup rolling on – the Round Five draw was served up by Akers right here.

Once you’ve digested that little lot, be sure to pop in the Matchday Surgery chatroom for a last minute chin-wag.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    And who to bring in? Thinking Kompany and Yakubu? Cant afford Aguero...

      rooney out of the two but it's a little mental not captaining van persie this week. Yes it's boring and I hate doing it and yes, Wigan played well last week and Villa are terrible, but it's still the better choice.

    Ok - after much consternation, I have decided to trade one of my GW36 DGW players to make sure I have 11 this GW. Baines is easiest to get back in if I want to as he only loses me 0.1m (whereas Simpson 0.4m, Dempsey 0.5 Cisse 0.3m). So options:

    A: Baines->Kompany
    B: Baines->Bardsley
    C: Dempsey->Sessengnon

      I am toying with Dempsey > Nasri. Which I think adds up over 2 gwks. But I don't think Dempsey > Sess does personally - not with Fulham home to Wigan next gwk.

      I'd save it in your position.

      Or do Dempsey > Nasri!!!

      Do you think Sess will outscore RVP this GW? If you are doubting that then you need to leave it with RVP. But if you are a believer you need to go with your initial choice. Larsson, McClean and Bendtner are all potential goal scorers and that could detract from Sess getting the goals on his own.

        I did think he had a better chance at a bigger haul, but after much deliberation with some gooners last night over a tipple or two I was convinced that RVP is going to tear it up as "he's coming back in form".

        I guess I will have to go with RVP and pray he out scores ses 😉

          I think he will mate. Although you are thinking Sess(c) could make up some nice ground in the rankings there is a flipside to that where RVP goes on a goal crazy rampage and you don't have him (c) you could lose some serious ground which at this stage in the season is difficult to make up.

    ok so we agreed the following this week:
    - RVP capt unless u want to be special
    - valencia and walcott and rooney and sigur are in everybodys team
    - dnt sell cisse
    - vermaelen is essencial if u can afford him
    - continue ur team with 10 or 11 players of the crap team left
    - mancity cover is risky cz of rotation

    now..... STOP POSTING YOUR TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ALL HAVE THE SAME F**KING PLAYERS!!!!!!

    Shotton out for Turner is the obvious one, is Lichaj nailed on for the next 3?

    Hey folks,

    I currently have Bogdan & Howard so no keeper this gw. I want to keep Bogdan and could play him every week, except this one. Therefore I need a cheap replacement for Howard to free up cash so I can take full advantage of gw 36.

    The obvious choice is Mignolet, but the doubts over his starts is making me consider Ruddy.

    Mignolet or Ruddy?

    Ruddy's 0.2 cheaper, and I could also play him in gw38 home to Villa ahead of Bogdan away at Stoke. Also he's presumably nailed on to start. There's just the minor inconvenience of the game at home to City...

    Keeper fixture choice gw34/38:

    A. WOL stk, but with the risk that Mignolet doesn't play

    Or

    B. MCI AVL?

      Bogdan is ok for the first DGW in GW35 but the 2nd one looks daft to play him. Howard is ideal for GW36. I don't think you should sell Howard tbh.

    Any chance of Rooney starting on the bench after his poor performance last GW? Not sure whether to captain him.

    Isn't there something rather nice about actually only having 11 players likely to play in this gameweek? No stressing at 11 am over who to sub out and stuff!!!
