How so? A manager is supposed to get his players to play well. That is his job. You can't just stick them all on the pitch regardless if they're the most talented footballers in the world and expect winning results. AVB just wasn't up to it.
That´s a pretty oblivious observation, as it is a rather well known fact that some of the players were never going to buy into or shall we say...actually do what they were asked. No way RDM would sit his ass up there and take credit for the turn-around. He (RDM) was essentially the good cop, and now with an excuse eliminated they had no choice but to step up. It should be a testament to AVB that they are still in the races for silverware. People that say the supposed turnaround (because lets be honest, they are a shout from CL ball at the moment) was because they got rid of the coach are funny, the only real change has been Kalou has gotten more burn.
