Carlos Tevez takes the title race and the Gameweek by the scruff of the neck with a stunning display in City’s merciless mauling of Norwich. United duly picked up the gauntlet, however, with a four-goal drubbing of Villa this afternoon.

Our Members can lose themselves in the statistics from all of the Gameweek’s matches so far – here’s our pick of the key numbers, together with our thoughts on the destination of the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus points…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I am not exaggerating when I say that this is an incredible strike. Didier Drogba collects a long ball forward from John Terry, outmuscles William Gallas and turns away from the Spurs defender before flashing an unstoppable shot into the top corner from the edge of the area. Not many strikers in the world could have scored that goal - Drogba is one of them.

20+ yards out tussling with a defender back to goal, scraped an inch to his right and unleashed a thunderbolt into the top corner when he had no right to even think of shooting...average really 😉

For the sake of the DGW, I hope Chelsea go through. They have the best DGW. But theyre the most rotation prone. So it'd be so much easier to steer clear of them, which I shall do if they win.

Rooney hasn’t scored against Everton at all in the past. Im really really tempted to ship him out for Tevez and then Tevez to a DGW striker. Knee Jerk of course. But the resulting 8PH (for GW36) ill need to get my required DGW team, is pinching at my conscience.

I was thinking that I could use that extra hit involving shipping Tevez out again to improve my DGW team.

    Confused. Thoughts??

I would be confused as well. I think Everton will limit United to a maximum of 2 goals, while City could nick anything between 1 and 7 at Molineux

The first transfer is a free, but basically it involves a hit.

City vs Wolves will be absolute rapeage, that I know and especially as the season draws to an end, there isnt much time to make up rank.

Will not having Tevez/Aguero cause a plummet in the rankings.

Well he never scored against anyone until he did but on the DGW striker in my mind only Spurs and Newcastle have really good matches and Cisse is still relatively cheap so maybe keep Rooney and dont do the hits cos Tevez would need another hattrick to make up the difference.

    ok folks DGW options

    a) Friedel, McCLean/HBA + Ade

    b) Same but with Jelavic over Ade

    c) Howard, VdV + Jelavic

    d) Friedel, Huth and Ade/Jelavic

    e) Friedel, Pienaar and Jelavic

    which do we like.

Option c rules out Moses/Maloney for Wigan's last 2 (bla, WOL)

Totally, though Bent is kind of overrated imo. Would still be a viable option for the run-in, though.

Bench one from these for GW35:

Sigurdsson - Ben Arfa - Sessegnon - Walcott - Valencia

    RVP - Rooney - Adebayor

Currently have Valencia benched as I think United will win marginally since Everton have been impressive defensively recently. Sess is an option to bench but I think after Sunderland's performance at Wolves they'yy be eager to win the next one and stay top half table. If an arguably off-form United can put 4 past Villa, I think Sunderland could have at least 2-0 which Sessegnon will surely be involved. Valencia COULD be rested for Nani as we saw Nani's goal today.

One guy mentioned that of you intend to bring either Kun or Tevez and then ship them out for DGW striker one of them would need to score a hat-trick. I have players to bring in for DGW. Currently have 2 FT, so will only use one on bringing Dempsey back for Sess. I am not ditching Rooney for this week.
