Gameweek 35 kicks off with a game between third-placed Arsenal and sixth-placed Chelsea. Champions League qualification (and all the money it brings) is at stake, and the Dugout Discussion opens to see how it plays out. The line-ups from the early game have been released, and are as follows…

Arsenal XI: Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Ramsey, Song, Walcott, Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamberlain, van Persie.

Chelsea XI: Cech, Bosingwa, Cahill, Terry, Bertrand, Essien, Romeu, Malouda, Sturridge, Torres, Kalou.

From the defeat at the hands of struggling Wigan there are four casualties, with Johan Djourou, Andre Santos, Mikel Areta and Yossi Benayoun all out of the eleven. In comes Laurent Koscielny, Kieran Gibbs, Aaron Ramsey and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Juggling his priorities, Roberto Di Matteo makes eight (8) changes ahead of the second leg Champions League semi-final against Barcelona. Petr Cech, John Terry and Gary Cahill are the only survivors from the first leg.

After the game at the Emirates we’ve got five 3pm fixtures to enjoy, before the day’s football concludes at Loftus Road for the game between QPR and Tottenham.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom will be open for the entirety of today’s action, and can be accessed right here.

I'm thinking of going all out and taking bold risks like some differentials (even for hits). I'm 50 points behind leader with 3 GW's to play. 1st or nothing in my eyes.

    Thinking...

    Aguero>Jelavic
    Valencia>Bale
    Sessegnon>VDV
    Buzsaky>Ben Arfa
    Kelly>Baines

    giving me:

    Bogdan
    Enrique-Wheater-Baines
    Ben Arfa-Sigurdsson-VDV-Dempsey-Bale
    Adebayor-Jelavic

    Vorm-Caulker-Evans-RVP

Would have liked Liverpool (Gerrard) or Chelsea coverage but rotation means no player is safe before Cup Final. Thoughts?

Assuming they all get through unscathed, and we get news on Luiz, how do you like these transfers for -8?
    Tevez/Aguero (MUN) > Jelavic (FUL/sto)
    Walcott (injured) > VDV (BLA/bol)
    Baines (injuried) > Cahill (QPR/NEW)
Thinking IF VDV and Cahill play both games, then the 4 points is paid back + any bonus attacking points/CS from the 180, more likely to be 140-150 for Rafa.

The way Spurs are playing I don't think going without their defenders is such a bad thing tbh. I won't have any either.

Avoid Torres. Still nowhere near scoring regularly if at all. For quite a few DGW fixtures i'm surprised at how little great options there are.

      Mata(2) VDV(2) Petrov(2) Sig

Considering how little they've spent the type of league position they have shouldn't be allowed, superb scouting and management has led to perfect season for them.

Hopefully they'll be able to recreate it next season, expectation will be far higher than this one.
