    8 point hit

    Good or bad?

      I would keep one of Rooney/RVP for Cisse/Jelavic and bank the 4pts. You'll want them gw37/38 onwards surely.

        Agreed, and out of those 2 I would keep Rooney. If you haven't had Cisse up to now then their fixtures (after gw36) suggest you are a bit late for that bandwagon, so I would just look at doing RVP>Jelly and save the hit

        Giggsy, what you reckon about this...

        Krul*
        Simpson*/Enrigue*/Caulker
        Demps*/Bale*/Siggy/Pienaar*
        Cisse*/Rooney

        Bench:Rvp/verm/evans/Vorm

        I would prefer Jellyfish, but this way I keep Rvp/Rooney for gw 37.

    morning all

    Kept the faith in Rooney (C) and as well as RVP but need to make some changes for the DGW:

    Vorm, Mign
    BAE x2, Turner, Simpson (Clichy, J Evans)
    HBA x2, Dempsey X2, Valencia, Siggy (Walcott)
    Cisse x2, Rooney, RVP

    Walcott definitely has to go so have a few choices:

    1. Walcott-----Bale
    2. Walcott----Pienaar
    3. Walcott & Valencia----Bale & Pienaar (4PH)
    4. Walcott & RVP----Pienaar and Jelly (4PH)
    5. Walcott & Valencia & RVP-----Bale & Pienaar & Jelly (8PH)

    Am quite liking the Everton pair as Tottenham seem to be going to pot at the moment.

    Any thoughts?

    Am tempted to go for

    I hope as many people as possible transfer out RVP this week. GW37/38 he'll pick up some serious points. Sure he hasn't been scoring but he's played well and has looked dangerous. I'm pleased i transferred out Rooney instead last week, hopefully RVP will score and against Stoke and Rooney will flop(whilst still beating city). Transfers are long term and getting rid of Rooney instead of RVP may pay off yet. Saying that i am bringing him back next week for Cisse. 🙂

        Probably. But i can see him getting points at Stoke. All 3 of his fixtures are good in my opinion and it just seems a waste of two fts/hits to bring him out and back again. He looked dangerous against Chelsea, against a weak Stoke he should do well.

I'm happy with the transfer because of what it allow me to do over the next couple of weeks. I did the transfer for the two games, not just the one.

    Just thinking through the merits of HBA, Pienaar and VDV for the DGW...

    HBA
    Pros: On top form (8.2), team is flying, on corners & free kicks
    Cons: Toughest fixtures, not a regular goal scorer

    Pienaar
    Pros: Good form (6.6), team is scoring for fun, ok fixtures
    Cons: Questionable whether his form will last, not a regular scorer, not on many set pieces

    VDV
    Pros: Easiest fixtures, plays behind striker, on corners & free kicks, track record of racking up massive scores, on pens if Ade isn't fit
    Cons: Patchy form (4.2), team in a slump, always liable to be dragged after 65mins

    What's the verdict?

    Yakubu -> Jelly
    Tevez -> Cisse
    Walcott -> VDV
    Bardsley -> Walker

    12 point hit overall. Madness ? Or reasonable transfers ?

        Thats the thing I can't if I want to get Cisse. If I kept him, I only could do Yakubu > Jelly and Walcott > VDV. Not too bad aswell, but I just don't know if I can live for another gw without Cisse, if he scores AGAIN ! 🙂

      Do the Jelly and VDV one.

      Bardsley could get a cleanie and I'd probably keep Tevez, City have to win that game so I expect goals.

    How can you have a 8ph if you only have 2 transfers for options E-H?

    Of the options there Jela and Mata seem like the best. Ade is a doubt, Sess's form has been dire as has Ba's.

    Mata could be a risk if Chelsea somehow go through.

      Obviously Walcott for one, likely won't play again this season. Other for me would be Valencia, doesn't look the same player with Nani on the pitch. Bale is leading , VDV if chasing.

          I'd just ditch Valencia and get Rooney in 37 😉 that's what I'm doing. Sunderland looked decent against Villa, unlucky not to score. Might aswell keep Sess for one last hurrah.

      1) rid yourself of Walcott (injured) and Sess (form and desire is gone)
      2) Its fairly even between these two so I'd look for differentials here and VDV will probably be it but Bale is the safe choice and more nailed on. VDV MAY be rested/get reduced game time for one of the games.

    Hey guys... normally i make my transfers as late as possible to avoid any potential training injuries etc... but looking at the sheer volume of transfers that some of my targets are attracting - ie. Jellyfish...Pienaar..

    should i throw out the rule book and do my transfers early this week to avoid losing cash for the inevitable transfers out next week?

    thoughts please gents....
