Robin Van Persie grabs a double in Arsenalโ€™s final home game of the season. Yossi Benayoun scores his second in four starts. Wes Hoolahan provides a goal and assist for the Canaries, while Grant Holt notches his fourteenth of the campaign in a six-goal thriller at the Emirates:

Robin Van Persie
With just a single game in yesterdayโ€™s Premier League schedule, the Arsenal skipper was afforded centre stage and he didnโ€™t disappoint those who handed him the armband. Despite failing to score in his previous four at the Emirates, Van Persie was the runaway leader in the Captain Poll this weekend, with 55% of the votes cast โ€“ a couple of goals against the Canaries handed his owners a 10 point Fantasy Premier League (FPL) return. This was only his second double-figure points haul in the last ten Gameweeks and, indeed, his first at home since Gameweek 24. The surprise 3-3 draw now hands Spurs and Newcastle a lifeline in the race for third place โ€“ both are just two points behind the Gunners ahead of this afternoonโ€™s games against Villa and City respectively. Arsenal, meanwhile, will hope to spoil the part at the Hawthorns next Sunday, as they roll up to West Brom for Roy Hodgsonโ€™s last game in charge โ€“ their task looks anything but easy, though; the Baggies have five clean sheets in the last six in front of their home fans.

Arsenal Midfield
While Thomas Vermaelenโ€™s Fantasy owners were left frustrated after the Belgian failed to register a single point, the Gunners midfield joined their skipper in earning profit. Tomas Rosicky continued his recent upturn in attacking consistency by chalking up another assist. The Czech midfielder now has three in his last four starts, compared to just one goal and one assist prior to Gameweek 34. Alex Songโ€™s superb creative season was highlighted by yet another assist โ€“ the 6.0 priced midfielder has provided twelve for the campaign; only four players have registered more in FPL this thus far. Yossi Benayoun kept his place on the left, with Gervinho staying wide right in Theo Walcottโ€™s absence โ€“ the on-loan Israeli international grabbed his sideโ€™s second, bringing his recent total to two in his last four appearances.

Grant Holt
Left out of the starting line-up for the previous game against Liverpool, the 5.1 priced forward returned to the Norwich first XI as Paul Lambert opted for two up front at the Emirates. Holt vindicated his managerโ€™s decision by grabbing his first goal since Gameweek 32 โ€“ his fourteenth of the season. With three goals and 17 bonus points also thrown in, Holt is the second top outfield player in terms of value this term, having accrued 131 points over his 35 appearances. A final match of the season see out-of-sorts Villa roll up to Carrow Road, offering Holt further opportunity to finish the season with a flourish a week today.

Wes Hoolahan
The Canaries playmaker chipped in with a goal and assist contribution as Norwich ended their three-game losing streak. Hoolahan has started six of his sideโ€™s last ten matches and has now produced attacking returns in all but one of those first-team appearances since Gameweek 28 โ€“ clearly, he has strong potential as a budget Fantasy forced but, despite his obvious impact, continues to remain a victim of Lambertโ€™s rotation policy. Jonny Howson, on the other hand, is clearly favoured by the Norwich boss โ€“ the former Leeds man has started every one of his sideโ€™s last nine games and played a significant part yesterday, providing the assist for Steve Morisonโ€™s late equaliser.

So when will bonus be out for yesterday. Or is someone going to give me 100% on it being van the man and sesame me feel better. The reason I'm jittery is I moved him from Rooney last min while my rival made the exact opposite move. Cann see him scoring a brace easily today as well.

Target all season has to get into top 10,000, then it was 1000, 100 and now top 10 so thinking of taking a gamble as all the teams above me will probably go with more or less similar.

Wait and see what happens today first. If Wigan are mathematically safe - and I expect them to be - you may not get the same energy about their performance. It's just natural to let down the final week after the exhausting battle to stay up is won.

You need to get Aguero (safe) or Tevez (gamble) in and captain them

Mancini to keep it tight rather than go all out attack vs QPR if it the situation remains the same after todays matches. Not so sure City cover is as essential as people think, what do you lot reckon about this..

In an idle moment this morning, I was just looking back at my GW1 team!! Oh my! I'm in the top 11,000 now but that first side..full of players like Tchoyi, Given, Malouda, Sessegnon and Ba when they were definitely not doing well.

Who were your nightmare selections in those early days?

My entire team?! I changed my team a lot in GW2 after FPL's screw up meant a lot of people didn't have their team finalised (I did, I just wish it hadn't been!) then played my WC for real in GW 4 because it was so bad!

Years of domination due to a false scandal isn't much to be proud of. So polite they refused to hand a title back after evidence was revealed that they had done the same thing Milan and Juve were accused of. Disgraceful club.

Maybe you'll have the same luck I did yesterday when I put £1 on 2-1 Chelsea, £1 on Ramires first goal and 50p on Ramires first goal plus Chelsea win 2-1. £2.50 laid out, £72.50 back. Boom!

I'd still swap that big win for a QPR one today though! Gonna be squeaky bum time at Loftus Road later!

Finally Carroll is looking like the force he was at Newcastle. Now they need to back him, there must be no question over his starting berth next season.

Also think he should go to the Euros. Best big man we have, in pretty good form, and will be a factor in the squad for years to come anyway.
