Whilst i appreciate all the advice given here, i've done so much better since not asking for every decision to somewhat be made for me. Up until GW26 it was as if i couldn't make a decision unless i asked a dozen times and there was some sort of "mean" answer that made sense. I was doing rubbish and decided to just go with my gut.

GW26 i was 250k
GW37 i'm now 5k

Next season i'm gonna go with my gut most of the season and see where it get's me. Anyone else got a climb as good as that in the past 10-11 GWs?

  Thats all well and good but I bet you a large proportion of your rise is due to the idea's submitted on here. It's no coincidence that my first yr on here has coincided with my best FPL overall ranking. I ask for advice but generally it's more confirmation that I am not going nuts, I ignore some.

    Oh yeah, i can concede that no problem. Without this site i'd be a lot worse off. It does seem that there's a lot of people here that haven't even seen the players they are getting in play. My rank last season was 4700th and i very rarely used this site but when i did it definitely helped.
    
    I just think far too many people use this site as a walkthrough rather than for advice and i was guilty of doing that in the first 2/3rds of the season and it wasn't until i started making my own decisions that i started consistantly getting half-decent GWs.

  It's a combo of guts and advice. I like to test out a player or two and see what the reaction is. I've been talked out of a silly transfer more than once on this site.

Just not feeling any love for Rooney for Gwk38...more than happy to replace with Aguero

Rooney's last few away games 2,2,2,5,8,12,2. the 12pt came against Chelsea in Gwk 24

Aguero's last few home games - 2, 19, 7, 7, 11, 2, 8.

Even factoring in the mammoth 19 pt haul, he is far more consistent and easily the best captaincy pick this week.

I could dump cisse for a hit, but here's his recent away stats

        The way I think of it Aguero is key as he is the best captain choice. If I kept Rooney, the only way I'd get Ageuro in is dumping Cisse (who ony really needs one shot on goal these days to score) for a hit...plus that hit would have to be a mid or Verm....none of whom I'd want to get rid of.
        
        Plus away Rooney just doesn't deliver to the same extent as Cisse or Aguero at home.
        
        Rooney leaving just feels right as well. the old gut instinct that was mentioned on this page earlier.

    Actually falling in gameweek in this gameweek might not mean you fall in overall rank, at least not in my case. I imagine plenty of lowly teams are still filled with some of the players who got bonus, like young and yaya, but few around me will have those.

Unless Enrique has a stormer likely to be going into GW38 8 and 7 points behind two opponents. 8 point doesn't have Aguero but could swap Rooney for him. 7 point does have Aguero but doesn't have RVP.

Should I:
a) Swap Cisse for Aguero (C) and hope my other players make up deficit
b) Take a gamble on Cisse to Torres (C)

This has been the gameweek that has ultimately cost me in 2/3 leagues i'm in.

Bonus not really affected me it's the fact that Spurs and Everton failed to perform at Villa and Wolves respectively.

27(ish) points behind first in one league and 22 in the other.

Was rather hoping it would go down to the wire but doubt i will catch now.
