Maybe this logic is too simplistic. But my two cents on squad building.
1. At the back: United and City have the best defensive records and consistent. Nice fixtures to begin with. I'll be having Mr De Gea then and two city defenders please.
2. In Midfield. Chelsea have a double. Who is Mr reliable at Chelsea? Hello Mr Lampard, welcome aboard. Your gonna get switched to Bale though after one week aboard the ship. United have decent fixtures, who is Mr reliable at united. Have a seat Mr Valencia.
3. Up Front. Man City have nice fixtures. Tevez, 200 pointer player, 9m. Okay. Who was the best player last year, RVP. Ahoy sir, till you jump boat.
Fill the rest in with reliable players who have played in the league before (Graham, McClean, Pianaar, Cuellar etc). Simplistic 3-4-3 with two big hitters in each department.
