This evening we roll out the final part of our series of Projections articles for the season ahead. Having already assessed the Keepers, Defenders and the Midfielders, it’s finally time to start searching for value up front.

With the aid of our freshly Projections, we’ve analysed the average points expected per player over the course of the upcoming campaign and, applying this to the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) player price list, have listed the top ten in terms of expected value per Fantasy pound for the season ahead…

    Cheers ILF. Wanna try and get a solid start. My track record in the first few GW's is hopeless. I get my head turned by unknowns and bandwagons and end up taking point hits or WC too early.
    
    It's not glamorous but allows me to up/downgrade when the time is right.

  Not convinced tbh. For instance GW1 you have midtable mids against Utd (h), Chelsea (a) and Arsenal (a).

  Most teams I see that are a bit different are usually a bit bad but I quite like this one with the defence and Sess pick. My suggestion is Foster and Begovic instead of Schwarzer and Ruddy, not a fan of Norwich and to some extent the Fulham defence either altho they have decent fixtures.
  
  Foster and Bego rotate for home matches and both good defensively at home, Stoke maybe less strong last season but that was in part europa involvements which are now gone.

  Your defence should score consistently, but at the expense of racking up explosive scores from anywhere but you two big strikers, and too many cheapos.

  The Lamps/ Ramires double up is brave and people won't like it, but stick to your guns.
  Ireland is an interesting one too (I hate the little shit) but he could be a good FPL pick this season.

    I like the NE rotation till the winter WC. I don't see the point in getting a defender just for a double when Kosc could easily outscore a Chelsea defender (ideally, I'd have Terry, but long term I want to save cash and transfers).
    
    Rangel and Hughes rotate well.

    Was talking about this the other day Eunuch. Arsenal def was dodgy last year but they were without verm for a while. My thinking on this is that if Wenger thought they were that bad then surely he would have invested in someone. He obviously thinks they are ok ATM. Kos is a decent def with decent g/s potential. Might see them a bit tighter this year.
