This afternoon, we have updated our Pre-Season Guide tab on the home page for Fantasy managers looking for some last-minute research ahead of Saturday’s kick-off:

Included are links to every pre-season game that has taken place, all our Scout Reports and Moving Target articles over the summer and extensive articles on each of the three promoted sides. In addition, we’ve added a brief “Scout Notes” synopsis of the main areas of concern for all 20 teams.

Below, we’ve listed the men in form in front of goal over the summer so far – nice to see Mauro Boselli in there, tempting us all with his pre-season goals once again..

      Possibly, although I am convinced that an injury free VDV and the removal of Saggy Face (who kept taking him off early!) will outscore Bale this season

        I'm uncertain Doos, to be honest I'm fairly sure that Siggy can deliver the goods. If Adebayor goes to Spurs I think I'll take him again since the midfield will be aiming for him. More than likely penalties again too.

      Don't forget nailed on. This happened to me last year a fair bit, everything points to someone and yet you go with your gut and your gut-chosen player fails miserably whilst the obvious choice scores a hat trick (I'll say it - Cisse). No more gut-chosen players I say! cold, hard facts.

    Santi Cazorla ...

    what do we think?

    is it worth going for him over Mata? ...my only other Chelsea player is Torres and since it's taken me about 3 weeks to finally crumble and accomodate the Spaniard he'll be wearing the arm band GW1.

    I've binned Tony V for fears that he'll play RB until Utd get a few Def's back. Replaced him with Cazorla, but will he get much game time in GW1? Any opinions? Cheers

      I see pros and cons on both. Lack of assist/goal possibilities with Hart and no City defender. Howard can still produce clean sheets but I can also grab some Sunderland home CS points.
