This afternoon, we have updated our Pre-Season Guide tab on the home page for Fantasy managers looking for some last-minute research ahead of Saturday’s kick-off:

Included are links to every pre-season game that has taken place, all our Scout Reports and Moving Target articles over the summer and extensive articles on each of the three promoted sides. In addition, we’ve added a brief “Scout Notes” synopsis of the main areas of concern for all 20 teams.

Below, we’ve listed the men in form in front of goal over the summer so far – nice to see Mauro Boselli in there, tempting us all with his pre-season goals once again..

      Would go for Cazorla for a first week punt as long as you have United and City coverage else where.

      Downgrade Lescott (probably will not play GW1 due to lack of fitness) and upgrade midfield... Then bring in Lescott for Cole in GW2...

      Lampard is a shell of his former self from an fpl perspective.You couldn't even bank on him getting the 60 minutes necessary for 2 appearabce points these days.

      I don't think he would even if he wasn't playing in the England game. He's not nailed on anymore and they have loads of options (Essien, Mikel, Meireles, Ramires, Romeu) in the two CM slots. I'd be very surprised if he played both games in the DGW.

    I see many teams with a 2M +, why is that? Why shouldn't you just go all in?

      2m usually to get torres to rooney move in 1FT.

      Two things stand out in your team:
      whitehead - terrible fpl choice.
      dempsey - many feel he is unlikely to start GW1 given he hasnt played in pre-season.

      Rest seems pretty good.

      Doubt it on Kelly, they've signed Reither to play RB.

      Not convinced on Jenkinson, even if he does start you'll have to transfer him out in a few weeks anyways and if you're not going to play him GW1 when are you going to play him? Get Cuellar instead .
