We may have suffered inauspicious starts to the season but there’s no denying it, we just love Fantasy Football.

For all his grumpiness and bile, Granville’s enthusiasm spills over as we both dive into the hot topics of the week: Juan Mata’s decline, Eden Hazard’s rise, the Rooney vs Van Persie question, whether Granville is the dopey one.

All these issues and more are addressed in the next 38-minutes, along with the return of All Aboard, the weekend preview and the first decisions to be made with the ailing ScoutCast XI. It’s my turn to play Pat Rice to Granville’s Arsene Wenger this week and, to script, I prove to be more of a hindrance than a help.

Indulge in the lovefest via this link or, alternatively, get streaming using the handy player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I'm afraid to not have Michu as captain. If he can score 2 and assist away to QPR, surely a home game against newly promoted West Ham should be a doddle? [Sorry Doos]

If Southampton can score twice, they will certainly get chances and you'd have to fancy Gerrard to be involved in some capacity. Whether or not they take those chances is another matter entirely

If the system was working properly then yes that would be correct. Unfortunately, the system has not be calibrated properly yet, so the thresholds are wrong. You need around 200% to drop at the moment, expect it to be sorted next week when they have "cracked the code".

Hi Optimus, I should have honestly finished top 5k, but some disastrous decisions left me just inside the top 10k post GW35. Ironically, my last two transfers were Hangeland and Nasri - decent prospects so far.

ATM I don't know what to make of my team. I've got one more hit lined up and then I should be good to go. I see you're playing the WC, which is understandable if you're loaded with crap Chelsea players as I was.

    Liv Vs man city.
I have three city players :
Zabaleta (it’s between him and fonte to play)
Yaya (it’s between him and Taarbat – one plays one on the bench – Taarbat was super attacking with 6 shots on goal in a defeat and now he goes to leaky Norwich – hard choice)
And tevez – which I will surely play.

I can see pool making a special effort and might be a difficult one to city – but which of their players to play and which to bench?

    Rodgers commenting on Nuri Sahin:

Brendan Rodgers expects to discover in the next 24 hours whether Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin will join Liverpool on loan.

The manager was asked about a potential move in his press conference following the 1-0 victory over Hearts.

He said: "Hopefully in the next 24 hours we'll get some confirmation on that.

"It's quite far [along the line]. He's a very good footballer."

alright, The season has kicked off and allot people are making changes which they don;t need, unless a player is injured.

I for one will be making a chnage becoz of Agurero injury.

    Some technical Advice:

    - Dark Horse for GW2:
    - D.Grahame- Good fixtures and even fantastic assisting players around him, its his bandwagon on Saturday
    - Sami nasri- Yes he did perform well, still a dark horse as not much interest given, I think he will scope some good point against liverpool another goal too
    - Hatim ben afra- yes chelsea defense is Shoby and this Kid will pay them,

Can someone tell me why Chelsea are buying Victor Moses, with all the midfielders they already got?

      A. You need 8 home grown players in a 25 man squad
      or
      B. RDM still thinks he is managing WBA

And they have 2 strikers, neither of whom are that good. Maybe they'll do a Spain and play without a striker eventually.

Just imagine Moses as the false 9 for the European champions.

Why not sign up Michael Kightly to play the Pedro role

I guess they don't see Ramirez as a right winger so Hazard/Mata/Marin/Oscar/Moses sharing the 3 attacking positions?

Anyone contemplating Jarvis if West Ham get him?
Anyone remember his value at Wolves?

Personally, I think he may be a great signing.
There's a lot of height in the West Ham team for his crosses.
