Why are there loads of rises in the international break? I have missed something... The prices are raised by kneejerking good performers from recent gameweek, so how does an international break make more rises?

players who do well the gw before the int break are transferred in like crazy. There are 2 weeks for people to do this and plus people play wildcard so increase in transfers

I think simply due to a 2 week break more people get transfer happy and WC or make multiple transfers.

I've always thought that there are immediate kneejerkers post game who massively transfer in some players, then there is a relative pause until the last team news the night before the games and then is the second wave of mass transfering. The lenght of the period doesen't matter.
I guess I've been wrong then...Open Controls-
as an example let's say a player needs 85,000 transfers to rise next. he's more likely to get those transfers over 2 weeks than 1, because there's more time for people to do it. the knee jerks during a break, especially if your team goes into that long break having done badly the week before

Mine is top 10k, just outside last season so hoping to crack it this year.Open Controls-
My target is top 1,000 after finishing 1,872 last year.
I'm currently 1.1m and my team looks shit.

top 40k. this is my first season of really paying attention although i've had a team the last 6 seasons. i just got into the top 50k a few years back, so that's my target to beat, and i'm sticking to it despite an unexpectedly great start. i know how things can go pear shaped in this game O.o

he was captain week 1 😛 jumped the gun getting him out before the second game of GW 1 obviously (was anticipating dyer's price rise), but to be honest it's worked out fairly well for me, and i don't think he'll continue scoring at this rate given chelsea's fixtures (certainly happy not to have him gw3 anyways... i'll get him back if he continues to look essential, i have the money in the bank for it.)
