The window has slammed shut, it’s time to settle after the frenzy and take stock on how the landscape has changed. We’ve opened up our Surgery Chatroom to allow you express your views, doubts and queries in real-time.

We almost need the international break to recover from what was the most active transfer window in memory. In case you missed it, we provided a summary of the key deals as we see it right here, although in the next week or so we’ll be breaking down the protagonists of Friday’s deadline in more detail.

Around yesterday’s transfer circus, Paul delivered the Scout Picks as normal, while it was Da Beeeez’ turn to throw some Differentials your way. All the team news was collected and collated for you right here, while throughout the week we had articles to aid your selections, including the updated Watchlist and the forward thinking Frisking of the Fixtures.

Our members enjoyed two exclusive articles, with Gareth Bale’s numbers being monitored in depth and the ICT Threat scores coming under analysis as we identified those who have provided a bark without a bite to this point.

With over 7000 in the Captain Poll once again, your armband situation is perhaps little clearer but if you fancy being confused, why not have a last minute listen to Granville and myself withering on in this week’s ScoutCast?

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Britton. Could get 3 points, Clyne won't get more than 2, much more likely he'll concede 3 or 4.

They're pretty different players TBH. Mata is more of a pivot, Xavi like pulling the strings with clever passes and not much pace whereas Haz is fast and direct running at players

Hmm, I said earlier on in the Summer that I thought Hazard was nearing on world class considering his age, based on what I saw of him in France, but I started to lose faith in pre-season.
I really like both, but they are different players, I don't think you can say one is better than the other at the moment.

You'll have some 2 pointers in there for sure but so will everyone. Perfect gameweeks are so rare and unlikely that hits are more likely to put you further behind.

Spurs are still wait and see for me anyway and hits for defs rarely pay off.

Rangel, S Taylor, Figueroa or Ridgewell

Already got Dyer and Graham so wary of 3 Swansea but good fixtures?
S Taylor 2 games with cs although against spurs and chelsea, people claim S Taylor bp magnet? Not seen it yet
Figueroa playing in a v advanced role and scoring goals but a wigan defender puts me off.
Ridgewell, W Brom def looking good and a threat at goal

Don't think you'll see Figgy so advanced today as Alcaraz (dam you he was in my team!!!) is suspended and Figueroa is likely to come into the back 3 today with Beasejour taking the LWB position.

That aside I think Wigan are better defensively now than you seem to be giving them credit for.

im in the same boat mate. Just been listening to Talksport and they mentioned that City struggled Home & Away vs QPR last season, Plus QPR's new signings.......i really dont know.....i just know whatever one i pick will be the wrong one!

Or even worse one of my other players who i never considered captain will bag the most points!

Wildcard team set but do I have the right team for today?

    Vorm (Begs)
    Rangel, Boyce, Gallas (Jags, Cuellar)
    Ya-Ya, Fellaini, Jarvis, Dyer (Hazard)
    RVP, Tevez, Petric

£0.7m in the bank for future improvements

Bit Spurless in the top 8. Not tempted to have Bale for Hazard for this week? Bring in Hazard next week? No? Fair enough.

Watching swans 2 games, their defence is not as tight as result indicate.

Well he won't score double figures every week if that's what you mean but he will be one of the top scoring 5.0 defs at the end of the season so not in that sense no.

Anyone else on WC bringing in Sterling for that "dead zone" 4.5m midfield slot? I'm never going to play him but he looks lively and might as well have a player who's value has the potential to rise massively should I want to ship out in the future

Oops, posted as a reply by accident.

    Played my wildcard.

Which sub 5.0 defenders should I be getting? Got Rangel, Ramis, Demel, Figuero, Simpson. Who should I get rid of/swap?

Dyer for a 6.1m mid....not sure who, maybe Jarvis......or wait and see what happens with Swans mid? If i do it now it will save me 4 point hit next gameweek but i have no other Swan cover

I'm considering playing Begovich over Foster. I am going to play pienaar, and i don't like to field players playing eachother. Madness?
