    United Transfers Analysis

    2012/2013

    Van Persie is a great striker but 20 million for any player who has stated he won't sign a new contract with just one year left on it is madness outside the likes of Messi, Ronaldo etc. Also with possibly just 2 top seasons left he is not going to be a long-term fix for a forward line starved of ideas. This next one is ridiculous, Fergie lones out a promising full back in Fabio. Fabio is the only understudy to Evra at left back. Fergie then forces himself to bring in a new full back to make up for this, misses out on his top targets and falls back on Buttner for 5m.

    2011/2012

    We lost an amazing goalkeeper in Van Der Sar and with just Lindegard as back-up, Fergie puts his faith in a teenage De Gea to carry on where the experienced and commanding keeper left off. De Gea has the potential to be great but the defence has lost so much without that assured presence behind them.

    2010/2011

    Brings in Hernandez, Bebe, Young. Hernandez has been demoted to 4th choice behind Rooney, RVP and Welbeck as there is no room in the modern game for poachers(Not to mention he's not even quick). Spent 7.5m on Bebe!(enough said) Young has become a bit-part player already. If you're looking for a flair player, you simply don't choose one from England, end of.

    2009/2010

    Ronaldo and Tevez leave, replaces Ronaldo with Valencia and Brings in Michael Owen to bolster forward options....Neither a thrilling prospect to fill a massive void left by 2 world class players
