Bit of both. We had little trouble scoring last year, it was our defence that let us down. Away form home I can see rvP playing, but at home Welbeck and/or Hernandez may get the nod to give RvP a rest. Ibra is nailed on and has a ridiculous group
Why so much love for KPB around here? He's a solid option but definitely priced as such. This Milan is not the team it used to be sadly.
Other than Pazzini, he's Milan's biggest threat in a group they'd expect to win.
I'd expect them to get through yes, but Zenit have the potential to light them up, Russian teams traditionally defend their home ground well in CL too. As for Malaga they've not looked bad at all this year, sort of an us against the world mentality. I wouldn't be so sure of Milan dominating this group.

he's my guilty long-shot. based on his performance against liverpool and then for france should get chances recovered balls. but he is obviously risky.
too much spent on defense... downgrade and upgrade midfield... better potential for points...

defensive midfielders more likely to get points as they are more likely to score goals also... and more challenges will be won in midfield... but this is my opinion... maybe defense might score recovered balls points...
THat's true. And also, in the group stages there are a lot of chances for CSs because of mismatches (eg, Arsenal/Montpellier) so defenders from the strong teams are key at this stage.

I don't know all of your midfielders (Kombarov, Bressan) so I cannot say, but most of it looks good. Check the playing stats on Alba so far this season. For some reason he has not started regularly.

its a bit of a poxy choice cause kagawa could do well at home to wigan where as tevez may struggle away to stoke but tev should play the 90 and in form
I'd be a bit concerned about Kagawa's gametime, not sure I'd captain him.

At the end of the day 60 mins vs Wigan at home is just as good as 90 mins away anywhere. He could get a lot from that.

Spend big on strikers and midfielders... The groups this time look good and have potential for lots of goals... Clean sheet points may become rare and for recovered balls you might look at defensive midfielders...
Well the mids are fairly cheap anyway, so yes.

Looks good to me. Davies won't be a regular once Swansea sign a replacement left-back though.
Could be more of a back up for davies. I just hope he gets his chance to shine, then he can cement his spot. Ill probably downgrade baines later and pick up Gibbs and others once Arse fixtures improve.
