Just the solitary Premier League fixture today, as Reading host Tottenham Hotspur with both sides looking for their first win of the campaign. The Dugout Discussion is open, and is the place to interact with your fellow fantasy managers as the events at the Madejski Stadium unfold. The team news is in, and here’s how the sides line-up…

Reading XI: McCarthy, Gunter, Gorkss, Pearce, Hartel, McCleary, Karacan, Leigertwood, McAnuff, Guthrie, Pogrebnyak.

Spurs XI: Friedel, Walker, Gallas, Vertonghen, Naughton, Sandro, Dembele, Lennon, Sigurdsson, Bale, Defoe.

It’s the men between the sticks that grab the headline team news, as Alex McCarthy replaces Adam Federici (injured) for the Royals, but Brad Friedel keeps Spurs’ new-signing Hugo Lloris at bay on the substitutes bench.

Elsewhere, Clint Dempsey and Emmanuel Adebayor are also on the visitors’ bench, and Kyle Naughton replaces Benoit Assou-Ekotto at left-back.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open and can be accessed right here.

Two free transfers, where are my priorities?

    Ruddy, Jaask

    Clyne, Gunter, Vert, Fabio, McCartney

    Nasri, Bale, Cazorla, Michu, Kacanikilic

    Tevez, Ba, RVP

Was thinking of Nasri and Fabio out for Ramirez and Clark....maybe?

Defoe being so selfish makes it impossible for Bale to be as good as he was last year.

Defoe's just being generous to his owners. 🙂 And before you ask, I don't own him.

Not sure, after today, only Cazorla has had more efforts on goal amongst the midfielders this season.

Already have him and bought for exactly this reason. Probably out after that run though to free up some much needed funds.

I for one am loving this not so predictable start to the season. Makes management so much more fun and templates getting broken is also nice too. 😀

      +1

Nice seeing the template teams doing not so well forcing people to think outside the box. However certain players almost always show themselves to be must have after a while.

Who should I transfer Ade to? Am 0.1 mill short of getting Torres, unfortunately. Defoe? Have no other Spurs coverage. Thanks.

Their defence may be shaken up a little with new left-back arrival and conceeding 3, no?

They have 3 very nice games ahead, and 2 clean sheets in 4 ain't bad by anyone's standards.
