Gameweek four concludes tonight at Goodison Park, as Everton play host to Newcastle United. The Dugout Discussion opens to see two sides with high ambitions for the season tussle it out. The team news is in and is as follows…

Everton XI: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Mirallas, Neville, Osman, Pienaar, Fellaini, Jelavic.
Newcastle XI: Harper, Perch, Williamson, S Taylor, Santon, Anita, Cabaye, Gutierrez, Marveaux, Ben Arfa, Cisse.

David Moyes makes two changes from the side that suffered defeat at the hands of West Brom in matchday three, with Tony Hibbert and Kevin Mirallas starting in place of Darron Gibson and Steven Naismith.

As for the visitors, Steve Harper replaces the injured Tim Krul, and James Perch and Mike Williamson patch up the defence in the absence of Danny Simpson and Fabricio Coloccini. Slyvain Marveaux is a surprise inclusion, as Demba Ba drops to the bench.

I was quite good in this game before I started to think too much about those player price rises and drops.
After last gw ended I needed to do quick decision who to ditch for Hazard to get him in before another 0.3 rise. Two weeks ago correct answer seemed to be ditch Bale, keep Kagawa. Last friday that answer would of course have been quite the opposite.

Last saturday I did Graham => Berba before his price hike. Didn't have even slightest worry that I would be totally out of keepers today (DDG, Fed yeah yeah).
Now I'll have to take a hit to get a keeper.

Is there a cure for this greed for value?

ps. I wrote this mainly for my own mental health, no-one bothers to read this long essays!
