Gameweek four concludes tonight at Goodison Park, as Everton play host to Newcastle United. The Dugout Discussion opens to see two sides with high ambitions for the season tussle it out. The team news is in and is as follows…

Everton XI: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Mirallas, Neville, Osman, Pienaar, Fellaini, Jelavic.

Newcastle XI: Harper, Perch, Williamson, S Taylor, Santon, Anita, Cabaye, Gutierrez, Marveaux, Ben Arfa, Cisse.

David Moyes makes two changes from the side that suffered defeat at the hands of West Brom in matchday three, with Tony Hibbert and Kevin Mirallas starting in place of Darron Gibson and Steven Naismith.

As for the visitors, Steve Harper replaces the injured Tim Krul, and James Perch and Mike Williamson patch up the defence in the absence of Danny Simpson and Fabricio Coloccini. Slyvain Marveaux is a surprise inclusion, as Demba Ba drops to the bench.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open and can be accessed right here.

I'm on WC but opting to leave Baines out. I know any Baines current owner will disagree automatically, but for the people who can be neutral for a moment...

They only have 3 home games in their next 8 games. 2 of those home games are Liverpool and Sunderland. Not straight forward at keeping a cleanie.

I just think a defence of: Ridgewell, Gibbs, Lowton, Nelsen, Hughes is better overall vs having Baines and having to significantly downgrade the rest.

Looking to build a second wave bandwagon team of players with low ownership, but likelihood of getting big scores over the next 6 weeks:

I don't think so. Hazard has 42%+ ownership, but Mata should still score more over the season.

Tevez has over 10x higher ownership than Aguero, but Aguero will be top pick and on penalties as soon as he is back.

          etc. etc.

Had bets on Bale and Ba to score anytime in there games (there also in my team). Get in. Bit conflicted now, as I had another bet for this match to end 2-1 to Everton and so could prob do with Ba not adding to his tally. Can't complain though I suppose!

Do we think this cameo on the bench for Ba was a once off tactical thing? They lack a bit of balance with him playing, but he is too good to bench.
