Signed in the transfer window, both Steven Fletcher and Dimitar Berbatov have wasted little time in acclimatising at their new clubs, turning the heads of Fantasy managers.

Placed snugly in the mid-price bracket, they both look to offer strong solutions to the third striker slot in our squads with other places reserved for expensive heavy-hitters. In that scenario, many Fantasy managers have been forced to choose from these two players – both take form, decent fixtures and almost identical price tags into the coming months.

In this latest article for our Members, we look beyond the goals and points notched so far, exploring the numbers behind their performances in an attempt to offer a solution to this particular selection dilemma.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

@WR, Demel is on my bench as well, but surely West Ham have to concede some time, and although Sunderland have been creating few chances, Fletcher has been converting nearly every chance he gets.

I was silly enough to take a punt on kolarov before i get Sagna, so i'm starting Baines Kolarov and Boyce, with Demel first sub. So Demel will probably play nyway despite me playing Berba.

I've got to down grade Johnson (SUN) in order to fund Graham > Berbatov.

I've got 6.4 mil to play with, but I'm thinking of going cheap with Sterling or Kacaniklic so I can upgrade my defence next week.

Right move? And if so, which one?

Evening fellas, struggling with my bench decision this week:

    Foster
Zaba (ARS), Ivanovic (STK), Demel (SUN),
Hazard (STK), Kagawa (liv), Pienaar (swa), McClean (whu), Maloney (FUL)
RVP (liv), Tevez (ARS), Berbatov (wig)

Subs: McClean (whu), Davies (EVE), Hughes (wig)

Stick with current subs, or maybe play McCLean instead of Maloney?

I'm thinking I may of cocked my team right up last week with moving to a 3-5-2 formation. I just hate seeing pog in my team, even though he is sat on my bench. Do people think its worth changing pog?

    Jaask, begs,
Baines, s. Taylor, jenkinson, demel, clyne
    Hazard, carzola, Michu, Peinaar, HBA,
    Rvp, tevez, pog.

Got 0.4m in the bank. Thinking maybe-

    A. Jenkinson > ridgewell

    C. Jenkinson & pog > Clark & di santo
    D. Jenkinson & pog > Nelsen & lambert

    Evening Gents,

Lost on last page, would appreciate some comments

I am away tomorrow and for the weekend so considering my transfers this week:

    Jaask

    Vermaelen, Clyne, Baines

    Cazorla, Michu, Maloney, Hazard

    RVP (C), Tevez (VC), Berbatov

    BENCH: Begovic, Guthrie, Gorkss, Cuellar

I am tempted to do Vermaelen > Vertonghen. Fan of Vert and reckon he has a goal or some BP’s coming soon.

I also have a gut feeling Yaya Toure will play further up the pitch and possibly do big things vs Arsenal this week so considering:

    Cazorla > Yaya Toure

    OR

    Michu > Ben Arfa
    Verm > Vert

Only because I think Newcastle can rack up a big score this week and he is surely going to be involved in something..

Thoughts appreciated. Also considering doing sweet F. all…

Because he's playing shite, missing the very few chances he's been getting, and Laudrup's system doesn't seem conducive to the CF scoring.

Does anyone have any information on the possibility of an up-coming double GW for Sunderland and Reading, after their match was postponed a couple of weeks ago? I'm thinking of getting rid of Guthrie and McClean but if it turns out they'll have a double GW, I can wait???

Opinions on my team for this weekend? (Not for Granville’s eyes btw)

    Schwarzer
    Baines, Ridgewell, Demel
Hazard (c), Santi Cazorla, Michu, Maloney
    RVP (vc), Tevez, Berbatov

    Subs: Green, McClean, Clyne, Gunter

Have I made the right decision playing Maloney over McClean?

I like this team a lot. Tried to dream up some chage I would recommend, but it would only be a matter of taste. I suppose I would want my fourth mid to be stronget than Maloney . . .

Obviously Maloney is home and McLean away, which is why you picked your team the way you did. I would probably make the same call. You asked about that choice, but also about your team. I think if your team is not going to change, I might marginally do what you did. But as an RMT, I would want not to have that choice.
