We start Gameweek 5 at the Liberty Stadium, as Michael Laudrup’s Swansea host Everton. The Dugout Discussion is open, so come in and follow all the day’s action amongst fellow fantasy football managers. The team news is in and there’s one or two surprises…

Swansea XI: Vorm, Rangel, Tate, Williams, Davies, Ki, de Guzman, Michu, Hernandez, Routledge, Graham.

Everton XI: Howard, Neville, Heitinga, Jagielka, Baines, Osman, Pienaar, Coleman, Fellaini, Mirallas, Anichebe.

Following their defeat at Aston Villa last time out, Nathan Dyer and Leon Britton drop to the bench with Ki Sung Yueng and Pablo Hernandez coming in.

Having scored on Monday night against Newcastle, Victor Anichebe earns a starting berth, replacing the injured Nikica Jelavic.

There’s another five Premier League fixtures to enjoy after Swansea and Everton do battle – so plenty of fantasy points on offer all round. The Dugout Discussion chatroom is the place to see them roll in, which can be accessed right here.

Akers Richard or Akers, as he is known, has been regularly haunting this site since July 2008. He is young and foolish, take what he says with a pinch of salt. Follow them on Twitter

Regarding the earlier assist discussion, the rule is phrased badly

“Assists are awarded to the player from the goal scoring team, who makes the last touch before the goal is scored.”

The last touch before a goal for the goal scoring team is technically always the goalscorer. What they *mean* is the last player on the goalscoring team excluding the goalscorer to touch the ball. It does not say this has to be the second last touch of the ball, the goalscorer can touch it as many times as he likes before scoring without affecting the assist to the second last player to touch it. therefore Pienaar gets an assist.

But... It hit the keeper, then the bar, then he scored.

I don't care anyway, just saying.

Knowing fpl... They won't give it.

the keeper and the bar are not players on the goalscoring team. It's clear. Pienaar is still the last player on the goalscoring team excluding the scorer.

I know what your saying, and I don't disagree.

          What I am saying is...

From experience I know fpls thoughts on these things, not always the case when you think it is. Just don't be surprised if it doesn't happen. That's all.

Baines makes up for having Rang and Michu in...think Rang almost scored as well. It's like a couple of seasons ago where every week he makes up for an otherwise poor defence. Just need Boyce to step it up 😀
