Saturday Dugout Discussion – Gameweek 5

22 September 2012 3583 comments

Akers

We start Gameweek 5 at the Liberty Stadium, as Michael Laudrup’s Swansea host Everton. The Dugout Discussion is open, so come in and follow all the day’s action amongst fellow fantasy football managers. The team news is in and there’s one or two surprises…

Swansea XI: Vorm, Rangel, Tate, Williams, Davies, Ki, de Guzman, Michu, Hernandez, Routledge, Graham.

Everton XI: Howard, Neville, Heitinga, Jagielka, Baines, Osman, Pienaar, Coleman, Fellaini, Mirallas, Anichebe.

Following their defeat at Aston Villa last time out, Nathan Dyer and Leon Britton drop to the bench with Ki Sung Yueng and Pablo Hernandez coming in.

Having scored on Monday night against Newcastle, Victor Anichebe earns a starting berth, replacing the injured Nikica Jelavic.

There’s another five Premier League fixtures to enjoy after Swansea and Everton do battle – so plenty of fantasy points on offer all round. The Dugout Discussion chatroom is the place to see them roll in, which can be accessed right here.

Blatant dive from Glen Whelan there.. Surely that should've been a penalty? Or am I clutching at straws?

First time of doubled on a defence this season... playing Demel and Jaaskelinaan, I would love a cleansheet.

Question: If a team scores a goal against your defender's team early on and a defender you have comes off the bench early with enough time to get 60mins, does he get the CS if the opposing team fails to score a goal while he plays that 60mins even though his team have already conceded?

A player is only awarded points against the time they were on the pitch, (except in the case of sending offs). So the defender got a clean sheet as no goals were scored whilst he was on the pitch for 60+ minutes.
