Hazard + Snodgrass > Pienaar + HBA?? Might be too early to decide on Hazard but thats the only way i can get both EVE and Newcastle cover which i lack! Worth it??
Open Controls-
I'm contemplating Hazard to Pienaar as well. Chelsea only have one good fxture (NOR) for a while and Everton's form and fixtures cannot be ignored.
Open Controls-
Might be such a bad thing. Haven't checked CHE fixtures really, but i might do Michu > Oscar if he keeps his place.
Open Controls
-
-
I have seriously been considering getting HBA in for Hazard myself. Your second need, that is to get Everton cover, makes it worthwhile imo.
Open Controls-
Thanks Ryan! You're always helping! No EVE cover here except Baines.
Pienaar of Fellaini?? since i can afford both.Open Controls

Finally surpassed both Mark and Granville in the Overall Ranks...
Still doesn't mean much considering I'm ranked 300k but still makes me feel a tad better inside 😆Open Controls-
They are having 'mares this season 😀
Open Controls -
Hai-A, ballzy move keeping Podolski on the bench, even against city 😉
Open Controls-
Yup, I wanted Dyer's -2 😉
Open Controls

Cross out the 2nd still
Open Controls

Is getting Kompany on a WC a bad move? I just feel there will be such stress-free times knowing he will definitely start and Man City will ultimately keep at least 10 CS = 60 points
Yay or nay?Open Controls-
Nay. There is no way he is worth that much. I would have Baines over him every day of the week.
Open Controls-
+2million 3hundred thousand and 13
Open Controls -
But do you not get the sense they are going to go on a run of consecutive CS soon? They might start racking them up like the old days. The Arsenal match might have been just the kick up the ass they need?
Open Controls -
I disagree. Theyve been somewhat unlucky to concede as much as they have this year, Mancini will definitely look to tighen up that ship. He`s the only rotation-immune player in that back 4, and he has goal threat. Obviously i would rather have Baines too, but if youre looking to invest alot in your defence, hes not a bad shout at all.
Open Controls-
Well you cant have both, so Baines it is!
Open Controls
-
-
-
No way.. He's way too heavy in price and Citeh ain't the defence like last year to rest faith imo!
Open Controls-
+1 despite his theatrical bicycle kick today, he hasn't shown much attacking intent this year, and without an evidenced upturn in defensive form, there are many better options.
Open Controls
-
-
-
Mignolet>jaas and Ivan>baines for free? Im short of 0.1m FML -.-
Open Controls-
I would keep Ivan for the next two.
Open Controls -
Bego over Jaas assuming you have Demel
Open Controls-
It doesnt really matter really. I just need 0.1m to get baines. And that seems to be the only sensible move. Cant afford to downgrade one of my front 7
Open Controls

Surely Shelvey's red card will be rescinded?
Open Controls-
And given to Halsey 😡
Open Controls
-

Play one of Maloney/Dyer or sell one of them for Fellaini for a hit?
Open Controls -
Morning all.
I'm not really liking next weeks fixtures.Open Controls-
Meh, its a Baines(C) sorta GW.
Open Controls-
Why Baines?
Open Controls-
Why not Baines..
Gut feeling and all that, but that just may be my hunger.. 😆Open Controls-
😆 I can see him getting 2pts. Soton are scoring for fun atm. Their defence is awful though so he may get attacking returns, but not worth the risk imo.
Open Controls-
Yeah. Just had a burger and my gut has changed. 😉
Still undecided about captain but Baines is definitely a contender.
Everton look really strong at the back atm and Howard is playing amazing.Open Controls

Open Controls -
Tevez and Michu in the top5 droppers.
Hazard also on negative NTI.Open Controls-
Hazard was on 98% before the Chelsea game. Straight downhill shortly after
Open Controls -
Gotta look beyond one weeks performance. Mich has 2 very nice home games in 7 and 8, Hazard has NOR at home next week, City fixtures are nice. Play the long game and u will be ok my friend!
Open Controls-
I'm just saying.
Btw, the long game does not favour Michu imo.Open Controls
-
-
Hmm, I have no Newcastle cover and they have reading next. It would be very tempting to sell one of those three.
Open Controls-
It's not about cover. It's about whether you get the BA with or without the H in front.
Open Controls -
Considering getting Hazard/Tevez > HBA/Ba maybe! Wouldn't be such a bad move for next week.
Open Controls
-
-
Just used my 2 FTs on Nasri/Torres to Gervinho/Suarez.
😆Open Controls-
I agree with the players you took out... But wondering if you shoulda considered other options to bring in...
Open Controls-
Ehh Gervinho is a punt but I think Suarez will do well soon. I have 2.1 in the bank to upgrade Graham to Ba/Berbatov/Fletcher for a hit if push comes to shove ;D

I feel a bit of regret that I wildcarded last night, I was on 11 points and I panicked. Obviously really relieved I got so many points on the Sunday but I wonder whether I would have bothered wildcarding if I'd known I would have a decent gameweek. In the end I actually had my highest ranking GW so far bizarrely/ironically.
The reason I'm feeling a tad regretful is the core of my team is staying much the same. I'm just allowing myself money to get the likes Cazorla/RVP/Aguero and let myself revamp my defence for the next 10/15 GW's. I would have had to take a few 8 point hits otherwise and it would have got ugly.
Can anyone reassure me I've done the right thing? Team linked... 🙁Open Controls-
You needed to WC. I would say you got lucky with the likes of Lescott etc. You have 7 or 8 players that need to go. Will there ever be a better time to WC?
Open Controls-
Ye you're right, I was so lucky. I guess I should just see it as a goodbye bonus right? 😀
Open Controls
-
-
I disagree, you coulda managed without wildcarding with that team. But still, regretting things gets you nowhere. Just put together a rock solid team now, and go forward:)
Open Controls-
Thanks, I just could see myself taking hits for ages and being ultimately unhappy with it all. I'm at 200k in rankings now and hopefully a decent WC team will put me in a healthy position to go into the winter months!

This acquafresca kid is really getting on my tits!
Open Controls-
You're a joke. Maybe you should post something that makes sense, rather than:
"Mignolet>jaas and Ivan>baines for free? Im short of 0.1m FML -.- "
Next time post your whole team and the suggested transfers, don't be mad because I;m more liked than you on here 😈Open Controls-
I even scored more than you, why did i even..
Haha nevermind. Goodluck catching up mate.Open Controls-
Cool story.
You were ranked 127k last season
I was ranked 6k.Open Controls-
I agree with this, the posting about "should i do this move or that move and i need to money" is not very rewarding for this site, and it is pretty pathetic to have other people tell you how to pick your team. Wouldnt you rather do it based on your own assumptions and observations?
Open Controls -
Arsenal fan huh? Maybe you should consider being a liverpool fan instead. Its written history all over your name already. What matter is, now sadly.
Open Controls-
My point is all that matters is the end result. Early days
Hey! I see you're ahead of both Mark and Granville, how about we all ditch this site and listen to your opinion instead. Idiot.Open Controls-
Thanks for teaching me a simple math today. Hahaha the readon i didnt posted the rest of my team because thatd be too annoying like the rest of rmts on here and i just want some opinion only on that particular transfer. Clearly youre too fcked to even click on my link, thats what links are for btw. Numbnuts

I am a Liverpool fan, and have been ever since i was a kid. This site is all about stuff that relates to fantasy, but not like that, even though way too many people think of it like that. And if you really didnt care about what i think, you wouldnt respond in that fashion, so drop the drama m8.

Why are ppl against doublin up with Fellainin and Pienaar? yet they're ok with Ba and Barfa and Baines and Pienaar etc.. that bein said i can afford HBA + Fellaini which is very temptin
Open Controls-
Baines and Pienaar is ok because one of them is a defender. The problem arises when you get two attackers in the same team. It is risky if they have an off day on attack.
The other think with having Fellaini and Pienaar is surely you would need Baines as well with the form he is in. Tripling up is just over the top.Open Controls-
i dont need baines as my defense is pretty ok... i got Noble Dyer and Kagawa who need to leave my team over the next few weeks so gettin Attackers in is my only priority
Open Controls -
SOT wig qpr... can see Everton gettin loads of goals in those so not worried about doubling up with attackers. can see them concedin in all those too
Open Controls-
Sure but Baines is just as much an attacking threat as Pienaar and Fellaini.
Open Controls
-
-
-
Don't think so. Its relying too heavily on one team and expecting too much from them! Fellaini imo has got lucky this season. Wonder how far he is from seeing a RED rectangle!!! 😀
Open Controls-
he used to get red cards as when playin deep he was forced to make tackles and defend.. playin in the CAM role all he has to do is attack. no coincidence the reds have stopped.. His role in the hole cannot be ignored.. like an underpriced cahill in his best years 🙂
Open Controls-
He's still seeing yellows. But the fact that you'll end up with both Pienaar and Fellaini filling 2 out of the possible 5 invaluable spots makes me worry. HBA and Ba is a totally different scenario as Ba is a forward!
Open Controls

Do it

I'm planning to WC in GW 9. Considering the strength of my current team, I reckon the degradation will hit rock bottom in GW 9, and then I can draft the Newcastle, Stoke and form players in.
Hopefully prices don't rise too much, but I'm looking at this type of line:
Jaask, Bego
Baines, Gibbs/Sagna, S. Taylor, Demel, Clyne
Santi, Pienaar, Yaya, Ben Arfa, Puncheon
Tevez, RVP, Berbatov
Lack of Chelsea, but hopefully Oscar cements a spot, and Yaya > Oscar will be possible.Open Controls-
I think Oscar is the way to go if becomes nailed on. He will get more goals than Hazard if he played every game imo. Hazard is a supreme assister like Cazorla.
The strange thing about your proposed WC team is it's very similar to the one I'm creating right this minute...things will have changed by then perhaps but I think it's a pretty solid template team right now.Open Controls
-
-
Okay i cant fix my fricking link, no matter what i do it ends up like that. What the feck?
Open Controls -
I always like a little gamble now and then. Despite the attacking options, welcome mr Suarez for the next three games.
I await your laughter with confidence!Open Controls-
-
Nice one.
Open Controls
-
-
He has failed to capitalize on good fixtures several times before. Are there any indication this will change right now?
Open Controls -
Not a bad move. He's just unpopular because he misses so many chances. I wouldn't be surprised if he scores 3 or more goals over the next 3 games though!
Open Controls
-
-
Fellaini's stats are just obscene. Can they be maintained?
Open Controls-
It wouldn't surprise me. I just hope Pienaar can keep up.
Open Controls-
Pienaar is really good, they kinda go hand in hand. Very bizarre that hes this good in a blue shirt but couldnt cut it for Spurs.
Open Controls-
Not that bizarre really. He had Bale to compete with at Spurs.
Open Controls-
Yeah thats not what i meant. He didnt play well at all when he got the chance, but then he comes back to Everton and hes better than ever. I guess confidence and managerial belief does wonders for ya.
Open Controls-
Good question. It took a long while for him to find his stride at Everton initially though. Took several seasons if I remember correctly.
Open Controls
-
-
-
-
-
Probably not quite, but they don't need to be maintained for him to be excellent value.
Pienaar, fellaini and baines form my spine for the foreseeable future... next 6-10 games, and i don't think it is risky ssince theyre all nailed on, involved, great value and great fixtures
Touch woodOpen Controls -
In previous years Fellaini has averaged about 3/4 goals a season. He had one season where he scored 8 which was pretty good. I just don't know if he has much assists in his locker like Pienaar does. He might end up getting 2's and 1's consistently when Jelavic is back to fire them in. And Anichebe and Mirallas are worthy replacements. They don't NEED Fellaini banging them in really. But they need Pienaar's creativity with Baines as it's central to their attack. Fellaini is brilliant value while it lasts though.

I have a front line of Tevez Torres Berbatov.
Survived without RVP and don't intend on bringing him in with MU's stiffening fixtures.
Who should I swap Torres for? So many options - Lambert, Ba, Fletcher, etc.
Any ideas?Open Controls-
For me its between Lambert and Ba. Both are capable of massive hauls whereas I doubt Fletcher has ever scored more than two goals in a game. I have a sneaky feeling Lambert will be the better option as I think he represents outstanding value. Look to get HBA in for Newcastle coverage.
Open Controls-
Ryan, care to advice on the first post of this page?? Need some help..

Post-WC Team:
Foster-Bego
Baines-Saylor-Gallas-Hughes-Demel
Hazard-Bale-Pienaar-Barfa-Dyer
Tevez-Podolski-Ba
Any suggested transfers for this week??Open Controls-
Personally I'd shift tevez. Think he's had his nice run with aguero injured and now it's Mancini time. They've got tough champs league games so rotation will be worse than united's
Open Controls-
Agreed. Leaving one more week and will assess from there.
Open Controls

Due to 6 players playing less than 45 mins plus 3 spurs going to old trafford, I've pressed the button.
How about this for wc team?
Begovic foster
Baines rafael mcauley demel clyne
Pienaar hazard fellaini benarfa sterling
Lambert vanP Suare
Notes...
Sterling has great fixtures for Lambert's bad ones
Defence may be expensive but I don't fancy many big guns up frontOpen Controls-
Maybe some Spurs cover. Bale has been good last 2 without being prolific. So maybe worth holding if you have him.
Open Controls

In a dilemma, I want to get Baines bt already have Howard and pienaar..
I can get Baines in since I. Have 2ft bt hesitant doubling up. The one option is to bring in Baines and get rid of Howard but not sure who. Howard is the only keeper upto 5.5 who is fixture and rotation proof. I already hav mcauly so don't want foster. Friedel might loose his place so yeah, not sure Abt the Baines decision....thoughts??Open Controls-
Double up imo. Baines will start every game, you'll only double up on evern's best games, and baines can score well eve when they concede. Plus they have some good fictxtures and when they do keep a cs youll be laughing
