After Saturday’s feast of action, we’ve just a paltry single encounter to pour over today. However, it’s a feisty Black Country derby between Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion. The Dugout Discussion is open, and the team news from Villa Park is in, and is as follows…

Aston Villa XI: Guzan, Lowton, Vlaar, Clark, Bennett, El Ahmadi, Delph, Albrighton, Holman, Agbonlahor, Benteke.

West Brom XI: Foster, Jones, McAuley, Olsson, Popov, Mulumbu, Yacob, Gera, Morrison, Brunt, Long.

Darren Bent is the surprise omission from Paul Lambert’s side, with the England striker relegated to the bench. Albion’s Macedonian defender Goran Popov gets his first league start, and Chris Brunt and Shane Long are back in the side after missing the midweek Capital One Cup tie.

    Has anybody considered getting 15 players that don't give you a massive headache by being randomly benched?

    That would mean no RVP, Aguero, Tevez but you could still get a front 3 where apart from injury they're pretty nailed on. Suarez, Ba, Crouch, Berbatov, Fletcher?
