With just a single fixture remaining in the Gameweek, it’s time for us to take our members by the hand and lead them through the streets of stats, pointing out the landmark figures that caught our eye this weekend…

Just watched MOTD 2, couldn't help but notice Evans shouting at Rafael for Spurs' 3rd, what was that about? Because he couldn't deal with Bale?
Open Controls-
Rafael is crap without Valencia on the pitch to cover him...
Open Controls-
*Crap defensively
Open Controls -
He's one of the best RBs in the league in my opinion. Gets a lot of unfair stick.
Open Controls-
-
Fascinating.
Open Controls
-
-
-
You are right. It's because he has no one to cover his tail and can't bomb down the right as much as if Valencia were playing. Valencia out means his attacking returns take a hit. Nani doesn't track back like Valencia so Rafael has to be more cautious.
Open Controls

It's calling passing the blame
Open Controls -
Rio hay? Could have sworn it was Rafa, my mistake. Yeah Rio was shite 🙂
Open Controls

Thoughts on RVP to Saurez and Guthrie to Bale? Am i just knee jerking?
Open Controls-
Seems sensible. Id do that but have Defoe as cover. Ill get Silva instead (or Hazard)
Open Controls -
stoke is a mean opponent...
Open Controls -
You are knee jerking, not to say there' anything wrong with that. Can you link your squad or write it out so that we can have a broader view?
United seems to have quite a few toughies coming up, but the main Golden Boot contestant should be able to score regardless of opposition.Open Controls

Wow what a night! Shame it didn't end in a tie, was on that at 15s 🙂
Open Controls-
I know.....bloody Tiger! Grrrrrrrrrrrr
Open Controls -
You must be hating Tiger then!

btw...
Tevez & Cazorla > Aguero & Bale... is it closer to:
a) genius
b) retardation?Open Controls-
Could go either way
Open Controls -
Would want Cazorla in the GW after next so don't really like it.
Open Controls-
Top score this week Beavis - more than double mine!
Open Controls
-
-
Long term, I'd say genius.
Open Controls -
Tevez to Aguero looks like out of the frying pan and into the fire to me.
If it was anyone else to Bale (including Hazard) I'd be positive...Open Controls -
Ok cheers boys

hey guys, do u think Koscielny will play vs Wigan?

Evening Gents,
Does anyone here know when the Sunday/Monday games for December are announced?Open Controls-

There was a specific date last year when the future games were announced. It seems very late this year. But thanks Ajay
Open Controls-
At the beginning of the year Sky only announced their games until November. I don't know when their next batch of games are released. Sorry cant be of more help..
Open Controls-
No worries Ajay, it was only for future planning in the games where you can change your bench in each day of the matchweek.

/logs into sky fantasy football for the third week in a row having forgotten to do anything before the deadline...
Open Controls-
I'm beginning to lose track of one or two of my games.
Concentrating on the ones I've got off to a better start in. Bit lazy on my part.Open Controls-
I think I put so much effort into following price changes, following form, noting tactics, monitoring rotation, using the compare tool, betting... that Sky FF is somewhere below cutting my nails for me.
Open Controls

Just to say nice one Beavis... just looked at your team, saw you scored a monster 84, and actually took great comfort that you jumped from ~250k to ~20k in one gameweek! It just takes one genius GW lads, keep plugging away!
Open Controls-

Congrats, Suarez (C), Vertonghen and Gervinho are all brilliant punts.
Open Controls

I can't believe I'm doing it, but I may just keep Danny Graham for the next two weeks. Not to mention Angel Rangel. And Michu. Hmm.

The Giants are better than EVENS to beat the Eagles, the Ryder Cup winnings have been spent 🙂

The opening Vertonghen goal for Spurs at United was a great example of clever movement, as the commentators do point out... Defoe actually creates the goal as much as anyone else by dragging Ferdinand right and carving open a huge hole between the centerbacks.
So glad to see Defoe finally having the season he deserves. Have never understood the lack of faith shown in him for England and the Prem. Consistently delivers when given the chance.Open Controls-
Plus, it could be argued Rafael left Ferdinand exposed...
Open Controls
-
-
Anyone going with no chelsea coverage next week? Im scared
Open Controls-
Don't be too scared. In the Prem they haven't scored that many goals from open play.
Open Controls-
-
Yes there is that. If you knew which Chelsea player would score all the goals, you'd be in profit. But we don't - it could be any of the front four... oh and the fullbacks... and John Terry...
Open Controls
-
-
I have Ivan, who stays for the foreseeable as long as he plays. Also tempted to squeeze Mata in at some point.
Open Controls-
Looks like Mata is being used more advanced than he was earlier (any further back and he'd be on the halfway line!) but until I see him consistently advanced in open play I can't pick him out of the Chelsea attackers

With Gervinho classified as a mid but playing 90 mins as a striker most games - would Cazorla --> Gerv be a wise move or a stupid one?
been thinking about it for ages, and waiting for someone to mention it on here - but never seems to happen!
Always time for my first ever post though. Hi guys - the name's Zaz 🙂Open Controls-
Welcome to your new home of football. It's like Sky except a lot cheaper and informative :ol:
Plenty of chat about it on Saturday morning after he scored. As a Gooner myself I believe Wenger will stick with him - but CF will be very 50/50, you have to be prepared to have him as a LW.
Great movement and lots of dribbles, touches and chances. If his finishing improves he'll be a monster.Open Controls-
How much do you reckon he will rise this week?
Open Controls-
He's the 4th fastest riser after Bale, Ba and Suarez. Rising tonight, transfers do slow considerably in the week though. I think he'll manage one more rise, Friday night at the latest, so 2 altogether.
Open Controls-
Cheers, reckon I'll swap Kags for him then, an early transfer I know, but would give me Arsenal coverage, already have RVP, plus some spare cash, what do you reckon?
Open Controls
-
-
-
-
Hey Zaz, hows the goin, thinking about it myself, seems a sensible option.
Open Controls-
Only think he'll rise the once personally - and whilst I've got 2.2 in the bank and can afford to wait, I know i'l come to regret it at THAT point of the season when i'm 0.1 short of getting the player I need to top my league!
Was considering it before the last gameweek too. Cazorla still has way more touches in the final third, and more shots on target etc - I believe gerv has had 3 SOT's and 3 goals this year, whilst cazorla takes corners, has taken 5 free kicks, and has had 10 shots on target so far..
But what use are all those stats if he's not hitting the back of the net and Gerv is?
My team is:
Jaask Begovic
Rafael Baker Demel Bertrand Gibbs
Michu Sterling Fellaini Hazard Cazorla
Ba RVP Berbatov
2.2 in the bank
(I've already used my FT this week - took tevez out for Ba before he rose)Open Controls-
Guess its about making a decision and going for it, once you have thought it through. At least you are then working to a plan.
Open Controls-
Cazorla has rise 0.3 since I had him, and with a good run of fixtures coming up - here's hoping he has atleast one cracking week to get me the 0.2 sell on fee!
If Gerv has another stormer though I'll have no choice but to jump ship.
Only worry is with the CL - Can't see cazorla being benched, but gerv probs will be, keeping him fresh for the weekend.
One more week. I promise.Open Controls

Hi..
It's a good surprise to see Tevez got 2 baps. Does it help changing your mind to keep him or slow down your transfer plan on him?Open Controls -
How's my WC team looking:
Barthez | Barthez
Keown | Berg | Melchiot | Le Saux | Downing
Jones | Keane | Marlet | Okocha | Ljungberg
Crouch | Yorke | Rebrov
1.2m left. Advice?Open Controls -
Umm.. Is Clark a good FPL pick? Villa can't keep much CS, but he has consistently delivered extra points from goal, assist, and baps.
Open Controls-
-
Yeah I got him on my WC a few weeks back for this reason. At 4.4 he offers good value
Open Controls
-
-
Hey guys, been working on my wildcard team more today, and have come up with this, note, no city or chelsea coverage, a bad thing?
Foster - Begovic
Baines, Vertonghen,Jenkinson - Demel, Clyne
Bale, Cazorla, Ben Arfa, Sterlin - Puncheon
Ba, RVP, Jelavic
Been pondering whether to do:
1. RVP & Ben Arfa >> Aguero & Hazard
2. Jelavic & Ben Arfa >> Suarez & Gervinho
3. Other?
Comments and any help would be greatly appreciated, important i get this team right 🙂Open Controls -
Any reason why we shouldn't do Hazard ---> Bale this week? The stats suggest Bale is on the way up and Hazard is on the way down in terms of performance. Spurs have much better fixtures over the coming weeks and you could argue that Villa at home is just as good a fixture as Norwich at home. Thoughts?
Open Controls-
most people are doing this i woudl think, i for one already have, balls to hazard lol.
Open Controls -
Do it, no reason not to. Hazard may even be rested.
Open Controls -
Agree with you but the cost is a transfer, which is reason perhaps not to twist.
Open Controls-
Surely its a transfer that would inevitably happen anyway though after the Norwich game.
Open Controls-
True this, but at the cost of a fixture against Norwich then.
Open Controls -
It is a transfer you could spend on someone else this week though..
Open Controls-
Fair point. Any suggestions? I'm currently satisfied with my squad and would otherwise be keen to save a transfer.
Open Controls-
Are you planning to ship Berbs any time soon?
Open Controls-
Na, otherwise I would have done it for a hit last week.
Open Controls-
I left him last week as I had already lost 8pts from transfers. He's not going to play for a while and considering forwards launder the most points usually you may want to consider swapping him temporarily until he comes back
Open Controls-
Define "a while". There's a chance he'll play next GW, if not the one after.
Open Controls
-
-
-
-
Berbatov to one of the midpriced wonders?
Open Controls-
I've made my bed there so now I have to lye in it
Open Controls-
You always ought to do whatever is best for you at any given moment!
Open Controls-
It's not entirely 100% certain Berb won't play this week is it? Might as well wait for the presser.
Open Controls -
Yep. I see what you mean. You can get away with saving a transfer.
Open Controls -
So the question is do I save a transfer or get Bale this week instead of next. I think its sometimes a wise idea to get the player who is in form for the guy who is not regardless of fixtures. Not that the fixtures are that different this week anyway
Open Controls
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
The only reason is Norwich. Anyway, I'm preparing to do that move when Hazard or Bale hits the threshold to rise/fall.. Hope it will happen after CL games.
Open Controls -
This didn't cross my mind until just now. Whilst you can't afford not to have Chelsea cover for Norwich, Bale is on the upswing. 16 against United at OT, who cares who he faces next!
Granted, United haven't hit their stride yet but it's still away at OT. A good sign from what looked like a though fixture on paper. Besides, he's sticking his tongue out when he celebrates. It's official. Bale is back.Open Controls -
-
-
WOW. Just watched the highlights of the Ryder Cup and didn't know who had won, incredible.
Open Controls-
What a night. Ryder cup is always up there for sporting drama and this was possibly the best one ever
Open Controls -
Amazing stuff, defininitely my favourite ever ryder cup to date.
Open Controls
-
-
Hmmmm I'll throw the question over to you guys.
Which one would you transfer out first? Have included literally everyone I can think of transferring out, does include a few that would seem daft to sell...
A) Boyce
B) Rangel
C) Hazard
D) RVP
E) Michu
F) Ben Arfa
Which one would you bring in first?
1) Bale
2) Gibbs
3) Gervinho
4) Fellaini
5) Crouch
6) BaOpen Controls-
-
Cheers, if only I could do just that haha!
Trying to work out if Swansea's CS are coming back with 3 of their 4 defenders back.Open Controls-
Hack the system to allow for 4 defenders and 6 mids in a squad?
Open Controls-
If you own Baines you have already 😉
Open Controls-
-
Now we just need Sessegnon to start playing like a real striker again...
Open Controls -
Hazard's tough one. He's got great vision and skill and is consistently up front. You would expect consistent attacking gains from him but he's just failed these few GW's. If I sold him I would have and extra 10% budget but deep inside there's just that voice that says "he'll do it next time"
Open Controls
-
-
-
-
-
-
A/B -> 2.
Open Controls-
That was my plan initially, interesting.
Open Controls
-
-
I sold Michu last week.
Considering to sell Hazard or Ben Arfa or Rangel this week.
Got Fellaini last week. Bale is now first on my wishlist. Gibbs next when Jenkinson actually lost his place.Open Controls-
Bale and Gibbs for me too. Bale's mixed fixtures (either easy looking or terrifying looking) put me off a bit, but Gibbs' are a bit mixed too.
Open Controls

Hazard takes up a lot of bankroll bit would be silly to get rid of This week

Vorm
Jenkinson, Lescott, Baines, Cole A
Cazorla, Y Toure, Pienaar
Ba, Fletcher, Lambert
Jaaskelainen, Walters, Ben Arfa, Clark
Anyone advise any changes? Looking at taking either Baines, Lescott or Ben Arfa out... my gut doesn't feel good and money could be better spent else where. Otherwise I am thinking of just sitting on my hands and hoping for the best.Open Controls -
Feel good about next weeks team score anyway
Have an Idea there will be quite a few 80+ scoresOpen Controls-
Quite a few people including yours truly predicted an awful gameweek this week... we expect a good one this week, but are prepared for the worst 😆
Open Controls-
Still cant figure out who to get for CHE attack but happy with Ivan only
Open Controls-
Seriously doesn't look worth getting in a Chelsea attacker until the dust has cleared and this transitional period setting up the Hazard Mata Oscar system has ended. Mata's two attacking contributions were from set pieces after all..
Open Controls
-
-
Funny, this is the GW in which i've earned the most points...
My squad actually performed terribly. One of my players earned two thirds of all my points :SOpen Controls-
40% here 😉
Open Controls-
-
High five, nice to see someone in the most likely around 1% of players who were mad enough to captain him 😀
Open Controls-
I was very much laughed at for justifying Sterling and Suarez ahead of Tevez, let alone captaining. To me it seemed somewhat obvious Suarez would score. At no stage did I know he would score 3 and an assist though haha
Open Controls-
Was the same for me - hence I didn't captain him. This game rewards punts though!
Open Controls-
What I have gathered from playing FPL:
Rule 1: If you have a strong feeling that someone will score, captain him.
Rule 2: Do not play or captain someone for the reason that other people have or recommend. Ask people for facts not opinions.
Rule 3: Do not play or captain someone for the simple reason that he costs more to buy in the game. Hazard, Adebayor, Dempsey and Hart are all examples of such. Btw everyone was asking if they should choose Sterling for Tevez last week and all decided against because he cost more despite their inner gut feeling saying Sterling would play better.Open Controls

best midfield option at 4.5 anybody? got puncheon at the moment, want somebody else, im on a wildcard.
Open Controls-
Ferguson is on the board 4 points.............................kidding
Open Controls-

was thinking this, maybe to just stick with him, cheap and gets points sometimes, he's made for the bench in my team anywa.
Open Controls

If you were 2 GW's early then I would've said Sterling. I guess Guthrie if Reading starts to score. But that's a bit of a gamble isnt it haha :P. Maybe Mikel? He's one of the few big team mids who has consistently started every game with such a low price tag.
Open Controls-
yea ive got sterling in my WC team anyhow, makes up the fourth decent low end midfielder spot, yeah too much of a gamble on reading for me personally. Mikel has crossed my mind just for bench placement, but may stick with puncheon.
Open Controls -
Guthrie just got left out of the team this week, I don't think he's a safe choice at all.
Open Controls
-
-
I'd stick with Puncheon Mannioni. I'm guessing he'll be on your bench most of the time anyway but always gives a good option.
Open Controls-
Cheers flynn, yeah he'll be on my bench most of the time, think i've decided to stick now then 🙂
Open Controls
-
-
-
I'm thinking of getting Gervinho.
Does he look nailed on atm?
Instead of Santi or as well as? Other option to go would be Barfa if I play two.Open Controls -
-
Yeah I'm seriously considering him actually. I think he and Bale will find themselves in a lot of peoples teams over the coming weeks. Citeh have great fixtures coming up too.
Open Controls-
Yup, he's looking like he is getting back into his groove again. The points will come, like they are coming now with Bale.
Open Controls
-
-
-
Alright, bye for now. Have early office meeting to attend today and will miss the price change time.
Potential Price Changes:
Likely to Rise: Cech ; Gibbs ; Gervinho
May Rise: Ivanovic ; Duff
Likely to Fall: Jarvis, Ramires, Pennant ; Giroud, Chicharito, AdebayorOpen Controls-
Thanks
Open Controls

Anyone going without Bale next week?
Open Controls-
nay
Open Controls -
Unless I take a hit I will.
Open Controls-
Same. Well i could actually just make the straight swap with Cazorla but i don't fancy losing Santi just yet so have to judge whether Bale is worth a hit. My first instinct is that he will be worth it. I'd have no problem playing him in each of his next four games - AVL, CHE, sot, WIG
Open Controls-
They both look to have good fixtures. I think it requires sleeping on. I risk any price moves for a day or so to make the choice I'm happy with.
This week was awful.Open Controls

A question I asked earlier but nobody answered...
I have Routledge and he is listed as having 0pts and playing 0mins.
He came on as a sub and should have 1pt, yet on the status page it says the points are confirmed.
I'd prefer the error not to be corrected as I'd have Demel coming off the bench, but I just find it odd that they seem to have missed his sub appearance.Open Controls
