As many of you will have seen this morning, some of the bonus points from last weekend’s games have been altered in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game. The reason for this was that the Press Association tracking data crashed in the second half in the middle of Saturday’s games – as a result, that they have had to re-watch all of the matches that took place that day and subsequently adjust any affected fixtures.

Going on the spreadsheet I have in front of me, it appears the following games will be altered:

Fulham v Man City
John Arne Riise will now get the maximum bonus. Carlos Tevez keeps his two and David Silva receives one. Previously, Silva had three and Gael Clichy picked up one but Riise has now been attributed with 5 blocks, raising his PPI score significantly.

Stoke v Swansea
The only change here is that Jon Walters and Charlie Adam now pick up a single bonus point apiece instead of Asmir Begovic. Initially, Begovic had received bonus despite making just two saves – this has been rectified.

Sunderland v Wigan
James McClean no longer has bonus points in this one. Previously, the winger had been awarded two – this now goes to Stephane Sessegnon, who had received a single BP beforehand. As a result, Adam Johnson now gets the single bonus point.

The correct data was only forwarded to FPL this morning but the recalculations are now underway and we can hopefully expect autosubs to be sorted soon.

Just a heads-up, folks….

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

While Ramsey scored, his good friend Needlevor gave a spanking to He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named-on-FFS in his h2h.

    Good lad.

It's funny cos I would want to keep HBA as well considering how dire Utd defence has been this season and HBA's home form is decent.

I see your pt regarding Aguero but he's just too much of a risk with Mancini's 4 strikers all in form. Not willing to have a 11 mil striker who has a good chance of being rested on any possible GW. That's just me.

If you really want City attack this week, Yaya could be your best bet? Playing advanced in the 4231 rolled out by Mancini.

That makes some sense with your team. You've got Baines but no MNC. My only reluctance would be that HBA has scored 10,9,8 FF points at home so far this year. Any thought to just bringing in Aguero for RvP ?

Need some help please. On 2 frees with 1.5 in the bank.

    Bego – Foster

    Cuellar – Demel – Gibbs – Nelsen – McAuley

    Hazard – Pienaar – Cazorla – Michu – Sterling

    RVP – Tevez – Fletcher

    Which option looks best?

    A) Tevez > Suarez
    B) Tevez > Suarez, Hazard > Bale
    C) Pienaar > Bale, Tevez > Defoe
    D) Use 1 free to upgrade defense and use 2 frees next GW.

I'd lean to D. I have a similar dilema in that I want to bring in Suarez with a current front line of RvP/Tevez/Berbatov. I think you want a MNC attacking player with their good run ahead and I think Tevez probably starts most of those games. I might think about Hazard >>Bale and strengthening the defense.

hard to say, some places record it as a shot off target and a block for the opponent, some just count it as nothing for the striker and simply give the block. i lean towards the latter although some ppi e.g nolan v sunderland suggest the former

Evening gents (well it is in Oman),

    Foster
    Clyne - Davies - Baines
    Cazorla - Michu - Hazard - Sterling
    Fletcher - Tevez - RVP

Subs - Begovic, Nolan, Demel, Cuellar

Got 2FTs & 0.1m in the bank so not a lot of room for manoeuvre. Will be monitoring Hazard & Michu the next GW or so to potentially free up some funds as Clyne has outstayed his welcome. Anything worth doing with this team, letting a transfer go to waste seems completely unnatural.

I`d lose Fletcher for Lambert if only for just this week, depending on how much value you`d lose ofcourse.

I'd gain 0.2 on Fletcher, bought him when he was 7mil. However, I fancy him to score vs City & then Sunderland have a decent run.

At least in my head it was a decent run, it's actually pretty awful. Still form > fixtures and all that.

It's not Clyne's fault! He's scored a goal! I sooner lose Demel than Clyne. He is one of the most attacking fullbacks in the league. He'll get the odd goal or assist - and they might even keep someone out one day.

Yeah demel is first on my hitlist to go. Look at their fixtures. They ain't gonna keep many CSs. Least southampton have some nice home games.

Crouch or Gervinho (he's a F in my drafted league) for the next month or so?

(my 4th / 5th mids are Michu + Nolan, so they'll be rotated with Crouch / Gervinho each week)

If youre going to rotate then i would go with Crouch, but i think Gervinho could turn out to be fantasy gold this season. Steve Bould went and compared him to Henry just today, i thought that was a bit funny however its clearly a vote of confidence.

yea, i hear ya. he looks like he could be dangerous. Crouch seems the safer option, as he'll start every game all season, and most of their goals (tho they don't score many) go through him somehow. also of note: i have Cazorla to "cover" Arsenal scoring, so maybe Gervinho's presence would be too much on my team...

I think my wildcard is going to come down to:

    1) Suarez / Silva

    Vs.

    2) Van Persie / Sahin

    It's 2 isn't it?

I`m still not sure about Sahin`s gametime. He`s been very good the past two fixtures and Brendan has said that he thinks Sahin is special, but Shelvey just has 1 more game left of his ban, and Lucas is edging back towards fitness. Then again i`d really hate to not have RVP. Suarez/Silva would just pip it for me, but its really close between the two.

Nope. Sahin? Questions over his role/nailed-onnes, especially when Lucas is back. Go Sterling if you want Pool or just avoid all together. 1 looks good though.

When your team looks really bad. I tried to save it for potential double GW`s in the winter, but injuries/rotation issues left me no choice. Dont think looking at it from an economic perspective is the best way to go.

Aguero is as rotatable in the BPL as Tevez imo so I'd have Tevez, especially if you have Silva. Not keen on Mata - prefer Cazorla at that price and Pienaar/Michu/Barfa over Gervinho. Anyone over Gallas. Hughes over Clark.

It's not mad, but it is risky. Then again, things are set up for some massive points or massive disappointments, or likely both. I'm torn between Bale, Hazard, Jelly, Defoe, and Cazorla.

If a lot of people are WCing over the international break, do we think there's a generic WC midfield to avoid? Something along the lines of,

Bale Cazorla/Gervinho Fellaini Silva Sterling etc

I think a lot of people will drop RVP to afford two or three big hitters, which may be a mistake.
