Alreet lads. Was I watching with toon (+ beer) goggles last night? The way I saw it, after man utd murdered us for the first 15 mins, when they could have been 3-4 up, the rest of the game we more than matched them. If we had saylor and colo playing, the first two goals almost certainly wouldn't have happened, and the result could have been very different. But the commentator at the end said that Man Utd well deserved a 3-0 victory. Really?
Open ControlsThey definitely deserved to win...Newcastle were beaten after 15mins...it was only going to get better for you after that...did well to put the pressure back on Man Utd but I think when any team goes 2-0 up so early they know they just need to see it through...Newcastle certainly didn't embarrass themselves...were very much on top for good parts of the game but didn't threaten enough...unlucky to not get that goal from the Cisse header...might have changed things. Pretty tense match all the way through...made for good viewing.
