Aleks Kolarov is a legend around these parts. Two seasons ago I backed the Serbian to shine, only to be left eggy faced as he City man huffed and puffed without impact. Now he’s back and this time it’s personal.

Having crashed the party with a 20-point haul in his last Etihad encounter, Kolarov is being lined up for a start this weekend and even Granville’s taking notice. Having ridiculed my affections for the player and gloried in his failings, the Mancunian has got himself a crush and he’s struggling to fight it off.

This week’s ScoutCast features a lot of Kolarlove, along with the supporting cast of regulars as Granville steals a mini-league march and starts to sound cocky.

      Not an advocate of point hits for a defender unless you definitely can't field 11 - however Jenks and Guthrie are not nailed on and you'll want to offload Jenks soon anyway. Short term I'd expect you to lose out but you'll get the Jenks transfer out of the way so it'll be a longer term gain, IMO.

          I saw a this quote from Wenger earlier:

          This sounds to me like young Jenks will be dropped, which is a problem for me as I have Pienaar and Demel already out. And Guthrie. Worth a 4pt hit to switch him to Wilson?

                Fair points. His comments pretty much cememt his place for a few weeks. He looked very sharp v Chelsea and could easily blitz Soton/WIGAN. Remember my mate making him captain v Wigan a few years ago. 50 points.

        Yes, don`t really want to lose Pienaar but I have a good feeling about Walters and he might play OOP. Foster -> Begovic is an option too
