Sunday Dugout Discussion – Gameweek 9

It’s a blockbuster Sunday in the Premier League, as two city rivals and two championship rivals face each other in back-to-back games. The Dugout Discussion opens for our first game, the small matter of the Merseyside Derby…

Everton XI: Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Naismith, Osman, Neville, Mirallas, Fellaini, Jelavic.

Liverpool XI: Jones, Wisdom, Skrtel, Agger, Jose Enrique, Fernandez Saez, Sahin, Gerrard, Allen, Sterling, Suarez.

David Moyes gets a huge boost in the form of Marouane Fellaini, who has passed fit and starts up front for the Toffee’s. As for Liverpool, they welcome back Pepe Reina but opt to leave him on the bench, meaning Brad Jones keeps his spot. Elsewhere, Jose Enrique gets a rare start courtesy of a Glen Johnson injury picked up midweek.

Before proceedings at Goodison Park conclude, Newcastle United host West Brom, and Southampton welcome the visit of Tottenham Hotspur (both games kick-off at 3p.m). Arguably the biggest game of the day kicks off at 4p.m however, as Manchester United travel to table-toppers Chelsea.

Follow all the action as it unfolds in our Dugout Discussion chatroom, which is open and can be accessed right here.

Really tempted with Michu, but fixtures are bad. Is he still playing up top?

After the luck I've had this week I can only hope for a Mata red card/injury.

Hoping for more Chelsea goals and nothing attacking wise from Rafael since I played Ridgewell ahead of him.

    Got a front 8 of...

Bale, Cazorla*, Dyer*, Ben Arfa*, Maloney
    van Persie, Berbatov, Suarez

Good week but those with * I am not happy with. Dyer is definitely out next week, what else do you think I should do?

I've always assumed that when a player fails to complete the 90mins his chances of bonus points are dramatically reduced.

I dun think it is wise to rush on RVP, the pig can still have a great season. A combination of Roon and Valencia can be a nice alternative to the flying dutchman
