Sunday Dugout Discussion – Gameweek 9

It’s a blockbuster Sunday in the Premier League, as two city rivals and two championship rivals face each other in back-to-back games. The Dugout Discussion opens for our first game, the small matter of the Merseyside Derby…

Everton XI: Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Naismith, Osman, Neville, Mirallas, Fellaini, Jelavic.

Liverpool XI: Jones, Wisdom, Skrtel, Agger, Jose Enrique, Fernandez Saez, Sahin, Gerrard, Allen, Sterling, Suarez.

David Moyes gets a huge boost in the form of Marouane Fellaini, who has passed fit and starts up front for the Toffee’s. As for Liverpool, they welcome back Pepe Reina but opt to leave him on the bench, meaning Brad Jones keeps his spot. Elsewhere, Jose Enrique gets a rare start courtesy of a Glen Johnson injury picked up midweek.

Before proceedings at Goodison Park conclude, Newcastle United host West Brom, and Southampton welcome the visit of Tottenham Hotspur (both games kick-off at 3p.m). Arguably the biggest game of the day kicks off at 4p.m however, as Manchester United travel to table-toppers Chelsea.

Follow all the action as it unfolds in our Dugout Discussion chatroom, which is open and can be accessed right here.

I have RVP 1st scorer with Chelsea to win 3-2. I think in a scorecast the OG rule regarding 1st scorers still applies but I don't think I went high enough on the number of goals.

Yep. I really hope United win and RVP isn't involved, Mata is unstoppable though 😐

I have mata inmy team, and have a seperate bet on chelsea draw for 5/1, and accummulator of chelsea win left for 10/1
but I am a united fan.

what should I feel if mata scored?

That's why you shouldn't have bet against United. Either way, it will be a hollow victory.

I always avoid games with united playing (except betting on O2.5 goals), just this one time
            and that time with southampton

United will need at least 2 more goals now to have a chance of winning this game.

Scholes is too slow for this kind of game, we already have Carrick who is supposed to be keeping possession.

By this script that 4 Chelsea MFs scored or assisted, Mikel will score the winner.

    Yaya, Wilson OUT

    Mata, Nelsen IN

    4pt hit.

Worth it? If not now, won't be able to afford it after tonight.

Judging by the goal-scorers, I'd say Ba is most likely for 3 BP's...

    Ba - 1 goal, 3 shots/2 on target, 74 minutes, winning team
    Lukaku - 1 goal, 3 shots/3 on target, 65 minutes, losing team
    Cisse - 1 goal, 1 shot/1 on target, 34 minutes, winning team

Rio Ferdinand and Evra are blatently the issue
