Another unplayable performance from Marouane Fellaini, ably supported by a string of outstanding Everton displays, lights up this weekend’s Big Numbers analysis, while the likes of Pablo Hernandez, Christian Benteke, Nicky Shorey, Robin Van Persie and Luis Suarez crash the party. Here’s our choice of the key statistics on show in the Gameweek so far…

Microphone head looks the real deal. Performance against Fulham was scary. He's capable of doing that against the bigger teams too. Ask Vidic. Think its worth bringing him in now, despite the looming suspension. He would be a long term investment and price will rise significantly very soon.

(Repost from last page) Same sort of question.
Any potential Fellaini buyers out there using the same reasoning as me here?
Even if he gets that inevitable yellow…he will be 7.3-7.6 by the time he does so…meaning he will be unaffordable (for me anyway). And when he does he will be flagged…so therefore he won’t drop much anyway. So once he is back for the next game he will still be around the same price (or say 0.1 cheaper…) but still out of reach.
I think it’s a risk I’m willing to take. Anyone agree with this?Open Controls-

get himOpen Controls -
yes i want to get him tonight before the price rise
plan was bale& martin >fellaini & rafael
but the doubts over mata's and ba's fitness are
throwing a spanner in the worksOpen Controls-
They are a concern...but I have a feeling they'll both be ok for next weekend.

Which one of the following would you do?
1. Tevez, Baines out – RVP, Cameron in (4 point hit)
2. Tevez, Baines, Pienaar out – RVP, Cameron, Fellani in (8 point hit)
Thank youOpen Controls -
Decided it was time for a change of grav.
Fingers crossed for a Soton CS tomorrow.Open Controls -
Hazard and Coloccini out, Baines & Fellaini in. -4 point hit.
Makes sense, right?
Or too much?Open Controls-
would u be happy with no chelsea coverage?
Open Controls -
-
Yeah go for it.
Open Controls -

For the money!
Can't afford Bainesy otherwise. If I just do Coloccini out, I have 5.2 for a replacement..?Open Controls-
Well, everton fixtures are going to be tough soon and i don't think it would be a good idea to ditch Hazard.
If you have Bale or Cazorla maybe you would like to ship them instead HazOpen Controls

sounds good
Open Controls -
Makes little sense. Everton aren't keeping clean sheets and Fellaini is one away from a ban. Coloccini to a Stoke defender is better imo and won't cost 4 points.

Bale – Dempsey – Ben Arfa – Sterling – Nolan
Suarez – RVP – Berba
What to do with my transfer guys. It’s Bale or dempsey out…

Pienaar to Fellaini feels such a sideways move, especially as pie could easily come up with the points another week.
I guess Fellaini position behind the striker mean he is up and around the action a lot more and especially away?
I have the exact money.
1. do it tonight? or
2. wait and see about Ba? or
3. Swap demel out for gorkss?Open Controls-
I'm sure some might not agree, but I'm not doing the Pie -> Fella move. I think Pie will score more short-term with Fellaini being close to a suspension. Guess it depends a bit on who your sub is. If you are thinking of keeping Fella long-term though, might be worth it. Demel could be ready for next GW, same with Ba. Not a big fan of doing early transfers.

Will this team survive as it is for the next GW? Going for a weeks break in Germany and catching the Schalke away game and not sure I'll get a chance to look at it again before next Saturday...
Begovic (Foster)
Baines Mertesacker Gorkss (Cuellar) (Hughes)
Bale Michu Nolan Pienaar (Kebe)
RVP (c) Tevez BaOpen Controls -
Grr, just want a sub 5.0m forward who's assured of starts to plonk on the bench each week, there doesn't appear to be anyone...

Unbelievable. I'm playing the highest scoring player in 3 out of 4 of my h2h's 🙁
Open Controls-
Quit H2Hs. They are a waste of time and energy
Open Controls-
I agree although I am doing incredibly well in mine. Last week I was top scorer in the league. I beat the 2nd scoring guy. It doesn't seem right.
Open Controls-
I quit them at the start of last season and it genuinely did help my ranking. Probably because was paying too much attention to my opponents every week and it was effecting my decision making

FACT!
Cahill, Ivanovic & Cole have 6 PL goals which is the same amount as the entire Sunderland team!Open Controls-
Your point? Chelsea are amazing...Sunderland are Sunderland...but I still believe.

Random thought: Baines surrounded by cheapie defenders is an awful idea.
Why not try Zabaleta/Glichy - Jevans -Sagna/Gibbs? They're defenders from top teams who you can start week in and week out.
It's doable and will be extremely productive in the long run.
My hypothetical team (with that proposed defense and if I take an 8 point hit this week):
Begovic
Zabaleta Jevans Gibbs
Mata Santi Michu Bale
RVP Ba Berba
Pretty good imo.Open Controls-
I have Baines, Rafa and Huth
Plan to play them every week and get 2 cheapiesOpen Controls -
Gibbs injured
Zabeleta never assured 100% of a startOpen Controls-
Gibbs is back next weekend. The Santos conundrum is over.
Zabaleta is favored by both Mancini and Marwood. Zabaleta even plays as a CB in Mancini's 3-5-2. If he's healthy, he starts.
Richards is out long term and Maicon has a injury that just won't heal. Mancini will have to realize that that if he wants to win the PL again, he'll have to stick with last year's defensive line of Zabaleta-Kompany-Lescott-Glichy. It gets results and it's the best defense he's got.Open Controls
-
-
I had Gibbs and he got injured...and he seems to be injury prone. Maybe Sagna would be better at staying fit...unless he breaks a leg again. I know what you're trying to say here...and it aint a bad idea...it's just that Jevans/Zab aren't always guaranteed to play every week under certain circumstances. Although having them for the next while might be profitable.
Open Controls-
Check my reply to MCTHEKNIFE regarding Zabaleta.
Jevans has played and started the last 6 PL games for United. Vidic is out 'til the new year. Smalling and Jones will be a threat to Rafael and Rio (to be rested at times because of age) but not Jevans imo.Open Controls

Bale -> Fellaini tonight, then if Ba is injured do Ba -> Suarez?
Foster Federici
Baines Cuellar Clyne Cameron Demel
Cazorla Bale Michu Maloney Noble
RVP Tevez Ba
Look good?Open Controls -
You either love him or hate him!
Open Controls -
superdunny you seriously think suarez in against chelsea is a bad idea?...i disagree cahill/luiz wont know how to deal with him
Open Controls -
Evening lads, was all set on doing Saylor > Sagna this week but don't think it's worth it. The other option I thought of is Crouch > Berbs before I can't afford him. Not sure it's worth it though looking at fixtures. Save the transfer?
Begovic
Baines Saylor Cameron
Cazorla Michu Baines Pienaar
RVP Crouch Tevez
Foster Sterling Nelsen Cuellar 1FT, 0.5 in bank.Open Controls -
Why are people getting rid of Bale? He has scored double figures in 3/4 away matches.. he could easily do the same in the next two?
Open Controls -
Should I take a hit to get in Fellaini for Michu? 0.2 in the bank?

I just did my first early transfer of the season. Pienaar > Fellaini. YOLO!

Mainly because Fellaini looks like rising. Quickly.

Is Kun to RVP for a hit good call? Or I should at least wait for the Spurs game? He must start in it right?
Open Controls-
I would take that hit.
Mancini is rotating a lot.Open Controls-
I am scared. So many bad calls recently. Afraid that I will sell him right before he scores a brace. Like I did with Mata and Cazorla and RVP and Tevez and ....
Open Controls-
I know, it happened to me with Bale too. But its too risky to keep Aguero. Sometimes i think that even mancini doesn't know what to do with his strikers.
Besides united fixtures are too good. But if you care, wait for the ucl.Open Controls
-
-
-
Don't mean to rub it in but he's been essential for a while now. I would do it if I were you.
Open Controls-
i sold rvp for kun in the wc. bad call obviously. but it kun was starting i am sure he would match his score. city scored one goal in 2. he must start kun right? even mancini isn't that a nob!!@!@
Open Controls-
Yeah I think you're unlucky to have him rested for two game but I would still get RVP regardless
Open Controls
-
-
-
Kun should start the next two. He could destroy Villa! But RVP is a must have atm.
Tricky one!Open Controls-
really tricky one. if they stay in cl he will be rested against villa. on the other hand he is assured of start against tot and there will be goal in it. really really don't know what to do. he is great differential and has great underlying stats. explosion is right behind the corner.
the question is: will i be still there to benefit from it? is the right think to wait?Open Controls-
He wont be rested for the villa game, might get only 70 mins but should start imo.
They play on wednesday at home to Madrid after the villa game & face Che on Sunday.
Not much travel as well.Open Controls

Gents, any objections for my 2 free later this week of:
Ivanovic and Demel -> Rafeal and Sagna?
Also, berb, sterling or taarabt on the bench.
Cheers.Open Controls-
Demel is dropping tonight... why wait until later in the week? Rafa and sagna will probably rise too
Open Controls-
errrr they both have a game to play midweek?
Open Controls-
But if he can't afford them later then he has to take a gamble
Open Controls-
Why would he not be able to afford them later? Did he say that?
Open Controls-
This is a pointless argument because we don't know.. likely to be a .3m swing, I would take the chance, maybe he doesn't need to but .3m will be very handy in the Jan WC
Open Controls-
Argument? The way you said it i assumed you knew that he would have 0.0m left after those trades. If not he should definitely wait till after the Champions League games are out the way.

Dont waste a striker spot on Pog mate, get a reading mid if you have to.
Pog + Barfa---> Berba + Mcanuff imo
I know New have decent fixtures but Barfa is not doing much at all.Open Controls

Hmm, so I need 6 points or more from Morrison to beat Drinky in my H2H

Just pulled the trigger, Nolan to Fellaini. I would like to thank Mr Nolan for his points and wish him all the best in his future endevours 🙂
