It’s been a week of uncertainty for Fantasy managers as international withdrawals saw the possibility of “phantom injuries” casting minor doubts over members of our squads for the weekend. Those doubts still linger, although we have had reassurance on some of the big names.

They don’t come much bigger than Robin Van Persie who, according to Sir Alex Ferguson, “should be fit” for United’s trip to Norwich, though Wayne Rooney and Jonny Evans remain doubts.

Arsene Wenger has plenty of injury worries, with Mikel Arteta and Olivier Giroud added to his list of doubts this morning.

Roberto Di Matteo has fewer concerns – John Terry is expected to be sidelined for around three weeks with the knee injury sustained against Liverpool last Sunday, while Frank Lampard is again unavailable due to an ongoing calf problem. Staying in West London and Mahamadou Diarra is a “big doubt” for Fulham’s home game with Sunderland, while Kieran Richardson is out for around 10 days with a hamstring problem.

QPR welcome back Fabio and Kieran Dyer to their squad, though Bobby Zamora is struggling and Ji-Sung Park remains sidelined with a knee problem.

Swansea and Newcastle both have a stack of injuries going into their clash on Saturday, although there was no mention of Demba Ba’s shin injury from Alan Pardew’s list of worries, leading us to accept that he’s available for the meet with the Swans. Michael Laudrup has a number of concerns, some of which he’s keeping to himself, although there’s a suggestion that both Leon Britton and Ashely Williams are the latest knocks to trouble the Dane’s preparations.

We’ve collected all this and squeezed it into our team news section and added our current predicted lineups for the weekend ahead. You can keep in touch with the very latest via our twitter feed as always.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Who's going to be a sad git like me tonight and stay in with some beers, watching all the comments of people freaking out who to captain and spending all their hard earned points on Tottenham and Arsenal players?...........

    Oh....................

    Just me then?.....

Sterling or michu. Who to bench? Thoughts?

Tough, but I'd bench Sterling. Wigan are decent and Liverpool haven't been pouring in goals. Sterling might be on delivery end of a goal from RatboySuarez, but probably not a whole lot more than that. Newcastle are still kind of beat up at the back, I believe, and I'd think Swansea could find net. Michu remains involved in most of Swansea action, and that is probably even more the case this weekend with Pablo Hernandez questionable from ankle injury. Michu form a bit off from early year successes, but still on the whole, a better player.

Accidentally made 32 points of transfers without opting to play my wildcard. Anyone know if I play my wildcard now whether those points will still be deducted?

Yup. If you play it now, you won't have the points deducted. Sounds like you have no other option, really.

I did the same thing last year. Only realised the next week i could still have played my WC. So i am sure if you play your WC now you wont have points deducted.

good for value but probably bad for points. Silva might not perform well against Chelsea defences. Caz has good home match. But if you want Silva better do it soon. His net transfer is climbing.

I'm going with Ivanovic. If I have him I'll play him, always a threat for a header
