“I am very happy with the way I have started and it has got to continue. Hopefully I will take it into Saturday's game.”
Doesn't sound like he picked up an injury to me.Open Controls-
But then Arsene Wenger on Walcott: "He was injured. He was not 100 per cent in the second half. He got a little bit injured on his ankle."
Im soo confused.Open Controls-
He had a knock basically, it won't keep him out.
Open Controls

Wenger already making excuses to drop him again.
Open Controls -
What do you make of the chatter about him being dropped from the 2013 calendar then? Pre-caution?
Open Controls-
Apparently it's not an official Arsenal calender. So it doesn't mean much.

Alright chaps,
1 FT, 0.4 in bank
Julio Cesar - Begovic
Baines - Rafael - Cuellar - McCartney - Stam
Cazorla - Sessegnon - Walters - Morrison - Puncheon
Van Pricey - Aguero - Berbatov
So looking to upgrade my midfield a bit, and want Bale. Then eventually Fellaini.
First move to save money is to downgrade Baines. So:
A) Baines > Ridgewell
B) Baines > Mertesacker
C) Other, which is NOT Baines > Enrique
CheersOpen Controls-
C: Nastasic, Azpilicueta, Shorey, Garrido all good options

hi, my team at present is:
Foster,Begovic
Jose Enrique,Clyne,Demel,Gorkss,Rafael
Britton,Pienaar,Sterling,Bale,Santi Cazorla
Tevez,Van Persie,Giroud
Please place your order of importance upon these planned trannies:
1) 4.0 defender -> Gibbs (They all have tough matches and 2 aren’t guaranteed to play)
2) Pienaar -> Fellaini (A bit sideways but it really really needs to happen)
3) Tevez -> Suarez (Although I think Tevez will start this weekend, Suarez has a much higher chance of points)Open Controls -
Who among Wisdom, Azipulblahblah, Nasistoctictic (oh dear lord, can't they just call themselves Ken or Tom) is more nailed on and guaranteed some returns?
Open Controls-
I would say the Nasty boy out of they 3. Stay clear of chelsea for the time being especially one whos likely to be rotated.
Open Controls -
Azpili is always a rotation risk with the Rafatation while Wisdom is nailed on when fit. The strange one is Nastasic whose game time is literally unknown.
Open Controls

Who to Get as a Baines replace Enrique or Nastasic? discuss.
Open Controls-
Replacement*
Open Controls -
Assuming he's injured, I'd get Enrique for the short term OOP madness. If/when he gets dropped, cash in on him for Nasty.

Ruddy to Bunn (or other keeper up to £4.2m) means I can get Enrique for Bardsley (no dgws) and keep Baines
or
Ruddy to Chesney means I would have to sell Baines to get Enrique but would have Bardsley for dgw
Bego/Bunn is only good for next three, Bego/Chesney takes me right through to gw 22...
Not looking good Bainsey... 😕Open Controls-
I could just get Chesney and keep Baines, forget about Enrique...

Good score again WR but I'm ahead in our Sky Fantasy league 😉

Lost on the last page.
Almost had the perfect defence this week if I hadn’t benched Nelsen for Clyne.
Bego
Clyne Cuellar Raf Nelsen Gorkss
Mata Santi Bale Fell Sterling
Ba RVP Fletcher
Just brought Mata last GW only to have him benched so may as well keep for this weekend when he will start. Thinking of dropping him for Michu after that with Enrique coming in for either Neslen, Gorkss or Clyne. Or I could scrap the whole thing and buy Hazard back now that he plays behind the sriker. Thoughts?
Also tinkering with the idea of swapping Caz for Theo down the line or maybe even Mata to Theo this week and ditching one of the Ars boys later on.Open Controls -
Ba to Suarez for a free? yay or nay
Open Controls -
Thoughts on this lads..
Foster / Begovic
Davies / Baines / Evans J / Nelsen / Gorkss
Sterling / Mata / Puncheon / Silva / Bale
Van Persie / Berbatov / Ba
2 FT, £1.1m in the bank.
Baines + Mata----> Enrique + Walcott?
Anything else catches your eye?Open Controls -
Seems kind of silly dropping Mata when he's sure to play against West Ham for Fellaini who's going against City away, but it's the only way I can get Enrique for one of the easiest fixtures in the Prem. Anyone think it's worth waiting a week to do it for free?
Open Controls -
What's the general consensus on Michu? Still at a decent price. Was thinking of picking him up next week NOR tot MUN rdg ful AVL is a decent run. 8 goals already.
Open Controls-
Yeah decent price. Good fixtures playing in the hole or up top. Only negative I can see is the 4YCs
Open Controls-
Looking at potential Mata replacements but nobody sticking out. Maybe just keep him for few..his fixtures after the blank are alright but he will probably miss out on one of them.

Can't someone please check and tell me if Walcott is goona rise tonight or Hazard gonna fall?
Much appreciated.Open Controls-
Walcott can't rise I don't think (protected)
As Hazard dropped last night and is on -25% you should be fine there.Open Controls -

I'm not sure I believe the Baines injury news - If he was truly injured he would have come off. I can't help thinking this is something to try and influence City's strategy knowing, as they must, the threat Baines offers and the vulnerability that creates.
Open Controls-
Don't think so...possibly but I doubt it.
Open Controls -
Moyes spoke about it on the post match interview so I cant see that he's made it up 😉
Open Controls-
Is that not more odd though? If he'd come off I could understand him offering up that information but proactively doing it just for the sake of the press seems very strange.

Begovic
Azpilicueta, Clark, Nastasic

Long, Suarez, Aguero
Foster, Sterling, Cuellar Sagna
Took rakes of hits so if this crowd don't pick up some better points than I'm getting I'll retire 🙁Open Controls -
My Wild Card team. Thoughts?
Bunn, Guzan
Nastasic, Enrique, Cuellar, Clyne, Shorey
Bale, Silva, Walcott, Puncheon, Fellaini
RVP, Suarez, Djibril Cisse
Obviously Cisse is the price I pay for the strength in other areas. But I think it could be a worthwhile gamble.Open Controls-
I'm not sure Cisse is worth your strength in other areas tbh
Open Controls-
Could afford Lambert instead, by the way. Or swap Silva for Michu and bring in Berbatov or Fletcher.
Open Controls-
Lambert's a far better option imo. Also - Michu and Fletcher for the double isn't a bad idea.
Open Controls-
Thanks - avoided Lambert as it would mean Clyne, Puncheon and Lambert for the blank week. Michu might be an option - but I ditched him two weeks ago, after having him from the start of the season - so not sure I could cope with back tracking to get him in!

Don't know what to do with Tevez.....only 1FT and not the money to get Suarez.
A) Take a hit and get in Suarez
B) Ship him to some one of equal or less value
C)) Sit tight
Team is well set up at mo...already have Cuellar and Michu on bench this week when I think both will do well so don't like the idea of a hit. In sating that though I don'y like 10M being used on a guy that doesn't play....Open Controls -
Just calculated my taking a 4 point hit cost me 21 points. Let that be a lessen to myself
Open Controls-
I had the same the other week...Tevez - Berb cost me dearly...now I'm laughing though.
Open Controls-
I did Routledge & Ba > Tevez & Punchy. seemed like such a good idea at the time
Open Controls -
Smiling more like, not like Berbs has raked in the points last two weeks 😉

Nice News/Features expansion Jonty, good for you.

Fletcher + Michu > Berbs + Fellaini for -4pts cost me a disgusting amount of points a few GWs back, 30+ overall I think when you factor in the following GW.
Open Controls -
the points scoring is too unreliable for hits to be worth the risk. I would put it at 20-30% chance that a hit will be worthwhile. there is also long term planning to think about though... and over a stretch of 5 games 20-30% adds up to more than 100%... the only problem is that you tend to plan less and chance points more if you take hits.

Well, After 14 GWs, Now my rank fall from GW1 6k to 109k and still dropping like a stone. From now on I will be playing safe. 🙁
Open Controls-
Good man. Safety is key during this stage of the season.
Open Controls-
Cheers! If I play safe always, I would be at the top of the leauge till now. I was number 1 until GW5. Now about 60 points behind and at the rank of 16. But I believe I will win at the end of the day. Thanks mate.

Why all the shipment of Ba out talk? His fixtures look okay and he was still influential yesterday, right? At 8.2 he is cheap for the quality and quantity of production.
Open Controls-
The problem for everyone is, if you want Suarez for his fixtures, and you want to keep RVP, you're basically deciding between Berbs, Ba, Giroud for the last spot (or Aguero / Tevez if you're feeling flush). I don't think Ba stacks up against those choices personally.
Open Controls -
Thanks -- not looking for Suarez so Berba and Ba would be my two other strikers with RVP. I like him more than Giroud or the City contingent so I think I will go with him. Would love it if he continued to dominate their attack but the presence of Cisse I do remember from last year...

My midfield
Michu(ARS) - Fellaini(MCI) - Mata(WHU) - Sess(NOR) - Sterling(SOU)
1.6m in the bank. I'm thinking
A) Don't transfer in anyone - bench Michu
B) Mata -> Walcott
C) Mata -> Silva
After transfers, still bench Michu?
Any suggestions appreciated, thanks!Open Controls -
Could Bale rise twice before Saturdays deadline as it may influence may decision when to buy him?

knee-jerked the following: Baines > Enrique, Valencia > Fellaini, Tevez > Suarez for 4pt hit, such a team value whore haha
