[sbu_large_image] The Stock Check

A dubious penalty, compounded by a red card, knocks the wind out of Wigan but hands Demba Ba the platform to reward the faith of his army of Fantasy owners. Here’s the Stock Check from Monday’s events…

On the Up

Demba Ba
The Senegalese striker went into tonight’s game having scored just once in his last five league appearances but rewarded the patience of his owners with a brace. Ba converted the early spot-kick before leaping on the rebound from Davide Santon’s effort to take him to ten goals for the season. Tonight’s returns will earn him further interest, although Ba was struggling with his hamstring late on, with Alan Pardew optimistic post-match that this was just stiffness rather than a setback.

Fabricio Coloccini
The towering Argentine has emerged as the most popular member of the Newcastle defence in terms of FPL ownership and his return to the Magpies’ back four has added the stability that helped them to their first clean sheet in ten league outings.

Going Down

The Wigan Defence
Robbed of Antolin Alcaraz for much of the season and with further niggles biting, Roberto Martinez now faces more problems at the back with Maynor Figueroa banned for the vital home clash with QPR, while Gary Caldwell picked up his fifth booking tonight which will also see him miss the weekend. With Ivan Ramis remaining an injury doubt, the Latics look set to field a patched-up back four for the visit of Harry Redknapp’s side.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

61 points with 13 on the bench (Michu)
    65k in the rank

    My concerns are:

    Baines and Foster.

What should I do with those guys?

Why if everyone is shipping him out?. I might keep him despit his tough fixtures.

I don't know what to do with Foster. If he doesn't come back next gw i think i'm going to swap him.

If you are going to swap him you may aswell do it now.. Becuase after this week he'll probably be back soon!

I wouldn't say Baines is a concern, but if you want some extra cash get Enrique 😉

I would only swap Foster if he doesn't return soon. If he returns this week ill keep him.

As for Baines, i would like to keep him, but Enrique is very tempting since he's playing as a LW.

    Bego
    Enrique Cuellar Gibbs Clyne
    Walcott* Caz Fell Michu
    Rvp Fletch*

Subs tremell gera gorkss* suarez*, 0 FT, 3.8 itb

Since i have 4 players doubtful/unavailable this weekend, is it worth it to do:

    A) gera to sess (-4), probably will captain him
    B) gorkss to shorey (-4). This move replaces a non-starting player
    C' leave it

    Thanks guys!

Saints, i am playing bego solely due to peer pressure because most of my ML rivals have him. So either we fail together, or we rise together kinda thing

But Tremmel has a good shout for CS. Sine he replaced Vorm, i think Swansea never concedes more than 1 goal....

    Sess has Che(H), Rea(H), Mun(A)....not the best fixtures ?

    Dempsey has Eve(A), Swa (H)

Both could easily score 6-7 points max over the 2 weeks.

Just seen your reply. Surprising thing is that Hughes beats both Clyne & McCartney in the comparison tool...

    Clyne - 3/7

I do him or Sess. Its quaranteed 4 pts I dont think that is so bad. And RDG is not so good defensively os their should be at least a goal or 2 in that game and Chelsea will be tired from CL so also could get something

    Hi

    A: keep bale
    B: switch to Sess (-4pts)
    C: switch to Taarabt (-4pts)

Thinking B now as we have no clue with bale.

Out of those options I would say B, but depends on the price you bought Bale at.

    Federici
    Gjohson Clyne Baird (Nelsen BillyJones)
    Michu Cazorla Taarabt Ajohson Fellaini
    RVP Ba (Suarez)

.4 in bank. should I make a transfer? Can't see a standout move unless Fletcher is fit (Ba > Fletcher?).
I was thinking to save it and use it to do Fellaini/Michu + Ajohson + Ba > Defoe + Gerrard + 5.3 mid for -4 after DGW. I appreciate your advice...

Theres a lot of talk about Sess and Fletch as the main Sunderland options for the DGW anybody else considering Gardner?

I watched Sunderlands last 3 games, he's scored twice and kept a CS in the other and seems to be the inform player for Sunderland..... any sunderland fans out there confirm/reject this thinking please?

Recent articles on FFS seem to confirm this. Having watched games he looks very dangerous and takes FK's. A lot of the play goes through him as he seems to have stepped up with Sess not being his usual self.

    Al-Habsi (Ruddy)

    J.Enrique Cameron Garrido Fonte Gorkss

    Bale S.Cazorla A.Johnson Fellaini Maloney

    RvP Fletcher Defoe

Already did Suarez>Defoe with the intent of doing Fletcher>Suarez the next week b/c of bad sunderland form and bad fixtures. However, with how bad Arsenal are doing, my budget Maloney injured, Bale injured, my starting keeper injured I am kind of screwed. I was thinking dropping S.Cazorla for Sessegnon and take a four point hit. I'd Have to bite the bullet and play a 4-3-3 but I'd keep bale for next week and make the trade back for Suarez. Good plan?
