The hot favourite was sent packing from the quarter finals last weekend, as former world number one Iyad Zahlan was swept aside by “MileHigh” by 80 points to 46. The latter now moves up to 58th in the overall standings and will be joined in the last four by Wild Rover, who edged past Tommy Tynans Left Shin Pad by two points in a battle of the site regulars.

Kun Nguyen also earned a place in the semi-finals with an upset of his own, defeating JMS 65-58, while David Bevan’s “Ange1Range1” scraped through on overall rank after drawing 50-50 with another familiar name on site, Ricky Smokes Lets Go.

The Semi-Final draw will follow later this week, with the last four clashing in Gameweek 22 as we take a break for the New Year’s Day programme. Those now involved now have the option to ponder whether to play their January Wildcards prior to their Gameweek 22 tie. Tense stuff.

      I don't think Stoke are totally without hope away at City. I'd certainly prefer playing Cameron and getting 1 or 2 points to chancing a clean sheet on a player that cost me - 4.

      Its either him or Mata in. Id go Mata if I knew he was definitely starting but Walcott if hes staying up top. Theyre a bit spoilt for strikers at the mo so I can see him back on the wing

    The past few days I've been dead set on bringing Fellaini in, now it's creeping closer to the deadline I instead want to take a punt on Puncheon to De Guzman.

    It'd leave me just enough cash to do Silva to Bale and / or Sess to Fellaini the week after.

    Someone set me straight please, is this utterly stupid or is there some value in it?

      Im debating Sess -> Fell myself, but have been told that with evertons injuries and the threat of Ba, he'll play deeper. Having said that, I'm going with my gut and doing the transfer, ALWAYS go with your feeling, Afroman is fixture proof.

      the 5 looks great but you just know itll give you headaches on captaincy and if the top teams have a bad week youll be screwed. 343 gives you more flexibility but youll have to lose one of the 'elites'
