The hot favourite was sent packing from the quarter finals last weekend, as former world number one Iyad Zahlan was swept aside by “MileHigh” by 80 points to 46. The latter now moves up to 58th in the overall standings and will be joined in the last four by Wild Rover, who edged past Tommy Tynans Left Shin Pad by two points in a battle of the site regulars.

Kun Nguyen also earned a place in the semi-finals with an upset of his own, defeating JMS 65-58, while David Bevan’s “Ange1Range1” scraped through on overall rank after drawing 50-50 with another familiar name on site, Ricky Smokes Lets Go.

The Semi-Final draw will follow later this week, with the last four clashing in Gameweek 22 as we take a break for the New Year’s Day programme. Those now involved now have the option to ponder whether to play their January Wildcards prior to their Gameweek 22 tie. Tense stuff.

1ange1range150* – 50Ricky Smokes lets go
2JMS58 – 65Mr.KK
3Wild rover49 – 47Tommy Tynans Left Shin Pad
4Giavara55546 – 80MileHigh

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Take a look at the post on the WC on the previous page it's very intriguing, lately I have been convinced that I was to do it after the DGW, but then again there is the point that I might not be able to buy the team I want, which would be annoying. Is the DGW that vital? Thoughts?

A few people have mentioned that because of Everton's injuries, Fellaini might be playing relatively deep. My question is, do they actually have anyone available who can slot in behind him in midfield if he IS to play in a more advanced role?

Who is the best 3rd striker for the WC if Ba signs elsewhere. Most would have RVP and Suarez as their first 2 but struggling to find a decent 3rd.....Aguero/Tevez (too much uncertainty), Berba (meh), Torres (well, it's Torres), Lambert/Defoe/Fletcher (Nothing special).

Therefore I'm starting to like the 3-5-2 formation and think it'll pay off imo

With wild card, you can wait for transfers. Sturridge is joining Liverpool, probably he's gonna play the nine and Suarez behind him. Chelsea could buy someone big on the forward.

Last year, two Cisse guys and Jelavić, among others, came to the league in January.

Most sides tighten up dramatically after a thrashing.

      1) QPR concede 5 v Swansea, next game concede 1

      2) Southampton got thrashed by Arsenal 6-1, next game concedes 1,

      3) Reading thrashed by Arsenal 5-2, next game concedes last minute goal at the Etihad

      4) QPR 2nd half v Liverpool didn't concede

Thanks for the reply. I see your defence got hammered last week as well!

Oscar is a nice punt if you need a differential, should definitely start...

That is the question... I've been planning to go Gibbs but can only see maybe 1 cleanie in the next 4 gameweeks.... His assist potential is so consistent though, he should get at least 2 in that period...

Michu's tweet suggests he is fine to play, but Laudrup wanted to be a bit coy in his press conf. If he is fit he will play and go bananas against Villa. I'd say there is a fairly good chance that Mata will get rested. QPR are very weak and I think he'll start with Hazard, Oscar and Moses.

Really looking at this move too

How certain are we hazards starting place?

Would be a very short term punt

Mata is probably more likely to give way, but if you're short of players already it's not a wise move.
