Starting the season priced at just 4.5 in Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Raheem Sterling quickly cemented his place in many a five man midfield thanks to a consistency of game time under new Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers. Handed a first-team chance in Gameweek 2, the winger rose steadily in price to 5.7 as the bandwagon showed little sign of slowing down but a run of 16 consecutive starts was brought to an end in Gameweek 18, with Rodgers citing signs of fatigue in the youngster’s play:

Really wish I could be rid of Guthrie, but got nothing in the bank, any suggestions? (on wc)

Evans is the obvious choice but there an defenders cheaper than him who are nailed on enough to consider playing them every week. Thus the only way I could do it might be to get a QPR defender and rotate QPR and Saints for 1 spot and Reading and Swansea for the other, with Zaba every week.

So main differentials to get in top 1K is Rooney (as punty as I get...), triple Stoke defence when Wilson is back and to a lesser degree Baines. What do you think...? Could go Aguero Sturridge as well, but think Rooney Fletch will do better over the next six (or at least the next two).

Any thoughts? No Bale and not city bother me of course, but something has got to give...

  Downgrade Baines. Stick with Cameron OR Wilson at the moment. If their form improves, then consider three. Other than that, it could very well work out.

    Cheers, though I will not downgrade Baines with their fixtures and their seemingly improving defence wise. Will think about it though, could get United and City/Chelsea defence cover instead.

I can't decide between Bale and Michu on my wildcard. I was one of the latecomers to the Michu party and got him at 7.5m, I can now sell for 7.9 so it's not like I can't get him back sometime. Swansea and Spurs have 3 away games in the next 4 and I'm debating who is going to do better. Their fixtures are both fairly favourable but I kind of fancy Bale is better in away games. It's a tricky one.
