There’s no less than eight Premier League encounters coming our way today, starting with QPR’s vital home clash with an out-of-sorts Norwich at Loftus Road. That’s followed by a host of three o’clock matches, with the likes of Theo Walcott and Juan Mata in action, before Robin Van Persie takes to the field at Craven Cottage later this evening, sporting the Fantasy armband for many yet again.

The team news from Shepherd’s Bush finds Harry Redknapp handing QPR debuts to both Chris Samba and Andos Townsend, while both Shaun Wright-Phillips and Jamie Mackie also earn recalls. Ryan Nelsen has, of course, now departed for Toronto, Esteban Granero drops out, while Nedum Onuoha and Loic Remy miss out through injury, presumably sustained in training late on Friday. Visitors Norwich are unchanged, with new signing Luciano Becchio nestled on the bench.

      Cesar still got 8 points so not really a massive loss is it.

      3 pt swing is nothing and most weeks you'd be ecstatic with 8 pts from your keeper.

    This Much We Know

    Samba aka Hightower as expected adds a steely resolve to the QPR backline in addition to being a real goal threat at set pieces.

    Andy Townsend's little brother looked excellent on his debut putting in a MOTM performance sending a message to FPL managers looking for some talent from the bargain bucket.

    Jermaine Jackson, I mean Defoe, no Jenas looked decent when he came on. He has bright yellow boots on, passed the ball well and never got injured. Stay tuned.

    Taarabt. Start scoring pens and cut out the fluffy corners.

      Which is why we should have not screwed around with the Odemwingie deal and paid what WB were asking for.

      We need goals now to save our season. Clean sheets and 0-0 draws are nice but we will not claw back the gap without winning games.

        I'll be getting Sturridge as well. I want a defender but i can't afford GJ and i'm not sure Enrique is worth selling Zaba or Rafa for. Though I could be tempted by Rafa, with a swap for Evans later on.
