With Gareth Bale and Michu tearing up defences and delivering big returns from Saturday’s matches, there’s much anticipation ahead of Sunday’s programme. While Aston Villa’s clash with West Ham seems likely to be an edgy battle of attrition, the Old Trafford clash between United and Everton looks to have a lot going for it. Sir Alex Ferguson’s teamsheet will be of keen interest in that one, while the Toffees will be looking to repeat last season’s thrilling 4-4 draw and perhaps keep the title race interesting.

The early team news is in and sees Paul Lambert make three changes to the Villa XI, with Nathan Baker, Fabian Delph and Jordan Bowery replacing Joe Bennett, Karim El Ahmadi and Gabby Agbonlahor.

For the Hammers, Joe Cole and Emanuel Pogatetz come in for Matt Jarvis and Ricardo Vaz Te; Guy Demel is on the bench.

    So Carrick and Kags look good for starting against Madrid. Maybe Ando as well. Chicha i reckon will be uptop with RVP in a diamond with Rooney on the top of the diamond.

      Think Kagawa will play as he has a bit more pace and is the type of player who can play against Madrid. Ando possibly. Carrick I would say certainly. Expect both RVP and Rooney to be playing, not sure if he'll throw Chica on as well. All that said, Having Anderson and Kagawa providing RVP and Rooney is a very exciting prospect.

        Agree, will have to work on closing that down completely. One good thing is DDG is well used to saving shots from the likes of Ronaldo. Should hopefully be more comfortable.

      He sucks. Scored only a couple of goals in the MLS this past season for a winger. He could find a nice niche at Stoke though because they are in desperate need of someone on the wing with speed. Worth monitoring I guess

    Norwich's defensive record has been generally terrific aside from the odd blip. Take away the Citeh game and at home they've been very, very good in last few months.

    I don't own Walcott so I'm thinking of doing Gerrard -> Cazorla.
    Santi is now cheaper than Theo, under 15% ownership and is well capable of grabbing some big points Vs AV, EVE.
